Apple crumble looked delicious. As adults we can eat whatever we want for breakfast. I had pumpkin pie 2 mornings for breakfast. Glad Kelly didn’t eat the mouse, but I wouldn’t want it in my house either. Safe travels Emi and Miss Kitty.

Emi needs a round baking rack and a small baking pan to turn her dutch oven into an actual oven keeping the food off the hottest part of the dutch oven and the heat will circulate around the baking pan. I make all kinds of things over the fire using this method.

i use some old silverware. 3 to be exact and alternate placement of fork tines. I place my pie pan or cake pan on it to displace the heat source for even distribution.

I live in the Andes mountains in Colombia....I do not hear of Van Lifers here. However, there are many Canadians and Americans who live Andover it here. The cost of living is significantly lower and South Americans are friendly and kind.

When you stop you should spray peppermint oil around your van and on your tires. That will help keep the mice away. Also soak some cotton balls with peppermint oil and place them around the van where the mice like to hide. It works good

Oh wow, that person really chopped a lot of wood! That is a gorgeous location and I don't think I'd leave it either lol. Apples and oatmeal are for sure breakfast foods so yep I'd say you did the right thing on making it your breakfast meal haha love it Emi. Glad Kelly didn't eat the mouse though with all the tummy issues she had the last time.

You should try stuffing/packing the hole with some steel wool. I had to do that in an older apartment I lived in to keep the mice from traveling into my place. They can't chew through it. It would be a temporary thing until you can fix the van panels.

The best traps are the live traps or individual peanut butter live traps to catch mice. That way you release them.

For the mouse stuff try spraying peppermint oil and water in your engine area and tires to deter mouse. Not inside as cats hate the smell
