Real change is more than behavior modification. According to Jesus, just like a tree is known by its fruit, our actions reveal our hearts. In this sermon, we consider 3 of Jesus' timeless insights about the human heart.

Thanks brother for your exelent explanation. In fact the gospel of Luke is powerful. The message that Jesus gave is outstanding, I love the gospel of Luke. We all should try our best to understand the teachings of Jesus Christ. Yes we should practice in our daily lives the teachings of Jesus christ. My question to you is, how do we clean ourselves, by keeping laws, or by the teachings of Jesus Christ. Further I believe that the greatest two commandments that Jesus told us to obey is more important than keeping the rest of the commandment. Or rather obeying these two commandments automatically fulfils all rest of the commandments. My second question is, What was Jesus prooving to show on the sabbath day, by eating on sabbath, by doing good things. ( Luke 6 : 1 - 9) My third question is why did and what did Jesus meant by saying " The son of man is also lord of the sabbath.

When Jesus is pointing the contrast of the state of the heart he is pointing out one is saved and one is not saved. That change is immediate when the Holy Spirit dwells you and births you a new. The scripture is not about Christians changing bad behavior, it's about salvation. The change that a Christian needs to make about bad behavior is called repentance, it is not slow as you imply.

Ok. The post begins with anecdotes from your life rather than opening God's word and expounding the text. Sorry. Don't know you. Looking for message from the text narrative rather than your creative 7 princiiples. Takes a lot of hubris to use a pulpit and God's word for your psychology speak and give law and no gospel. . Ok. Dallas Willard. I get it.
