Very interesting stuff! Explains alot about the coconut palms you still see growing in public!

Wow...ok, that explains so much. Couple of comments. We were in Poipu, Kauai the coconuts around the hotel grounds there had to be trimmed often because of liability. You would still see coconuts on smaller trees, if I remember. And picking one up off the ground, for a family photo, wasn't hard to do. Also, would it be possible for one of the coconuts from your video above to drop in the ground and sprout a tree-is the ground warm enough or are the conditions right? That is amazing. Thank you.

It's a sad day when attorneys are in charge of how palms are trimmed. Our family had five full size coconut palms on our property on O'ahu, lived there for years and no one was conked. But what else would you expect in a litigious society like ours.

Makes sense not to grow coconut 🥥 🌴 trees. Can you make a video from Marie Selby Botanical Gardens?
