This is very off topic for this video but i would LOVE to see Elizabeth reacting to Bring Me The Horizon. Diamonds Aren't Forever has some of the grittiest and most guttural vocal work ive ever heard. The energy and agression are unmatched. It might be out of this channel's wheelhouse but i think it would make for a very interesting video,especially on the topic of vocal chord health and technique while singing in such a rough manner!

As a non computer/non musical type person, all i see is blocks of colour on a screen, so I am very impressed with anyone that can do this kind of thing. Having said that, is it truly "acapella" if it can't be sung live? A sample of human voice that gets altered is just the same as a sample of a musical instrument, surely?

@huldradraco
@huldradraco 2 ай бұрын
A cappella artists also get mixed live on stage, with the mixing engineer changing their voices while they sing. So even during live performances this happens. This song may not be able to be fully replicated as it is in the music video, on stage. No music video sounds the same when sung live. Live it will sound slightly different, like all music does.
@stevenporter8740
@stevenporter8740 2 ай бұрын
@@huldradraco I'm old enough and British enough to remember the Swingle Singers, who were famous in the sixties. They pretty much just went on stage and sang. I suppose that is what a cappella means to me, although I'm quite aware that time moves on😉

@@stevenporter8740 VoicePlay spent their early years the same way, that's how they perfected their craft. Nowadays they just have their music a bit more tailored towards the modern music scene, where they can tweak their music videos to perfection. But trust me, these boys can still bust out the perfect song even off mic, I've heard them do it live and they sounded amazing 🥰
