Yes, they are so knowledgable. And seeing the tree "explode" shows how important it is to let professionals do the work - downed trees are far more dangerous than anyone might realize. Some years ago ('80's?) there were some terrible storms that blew through the Black Forest area of Germany (they may have been tornadoes, or storms similar to tornadoes) - huge swaths of trees, thousands, came down for miles and miles, but they were on top of each other - several people were killed just walking through the woods near the downed trees - many trees had twisted and just the chance removal or displacement of a key, seemingly innocuous branch would release the tension and trees would suddenly spring, without warning, into a new position. I'm glad Nick and Cameron are clearing out the overgrowth and allowing the healthier trees and plants to get some much needed sunlight and thrive.

I imagine that Pavlina and Marie will find harmony with each other. Marie will also be busy helping with cooking and probably even take on other responsibilities. Someone pointed out in the comments that now that Nattie lives away from Lalande with Aumary, and they are not there at night, that someone would be needed to help the B and B guests in the evenings.

She went through feeling quite lost after leaving Lalande and her hopes& dreams crashed and she was extremely depressed for a long, long time. I think that perhaps she has grown a lot from those many very humbling experiences. I too like Pavlina and agree with you that she is very humble, and so sweet and charming and that gives her a special beauty. She is truly a beautiful soul and I hope she can stay at Lalande indefinitely. She has no reason to leave that I know of. Hopefully she was able to get a special visa due to her circumstances. I really like his helper Cameron, his personality is really shining through and I'm glad to see he feels more free to speak up on camera. In one of the vlogs, he mentioned that he is a descendant of Eric the Red, a famous historical figure I will need to do some research on. He explained that is where his naturally "split" or forked beard comes from.

I was so worried about all of the slanted trees on the slope up from the boathouse. Nick and Cameron have done a wonderful job to carefully bring them down, despite the scares they must have had. The forest is looking magnificent!
