Heat and Material Balance on P&ID | Do not add HMB on the Piping and Instrumentation Diagram

Hi Sir, Can you help me regarding Calculation of Heat Material Balance Sheet of Hydrocarbon (VOC/HAP) lines in Oil and gas Industry P&ID. I work in oil&gas Plant with Murk Hydrocarbon Lines on P&ID. But I don't know how these lines (VOC/HAP) are murk.

Hi, my suggestion to is: start building a PFD (process flow diagram) from your unit. A PFD is much simpler than a P&ID and should include the main process, equipment and controls.
