I did this tutorial last week before going out, and I got tons of compliments on my hair. So thanks for that! I fell asleep with all the pins in, and the front was still perfect. When my friend talked me into going out again, I was lazy and put the back into a side pony with an elastic. It's quicker, but it pulls on the hair - much better to do it your way and pin it.

You can side sweep hair to look like bangs. And you can use a comb to smooth, you just have to be really gentle.

I tried this look out on the weekend, and it was awesome. It worked really well too because I put the ponytail on the side where I'm growing out my undercut (which is a nightmare when wearing your hair up). So this has given me a go-to style until it's all long enough. Thanks!

I rarely blowdry my hair, but it is naturally straight. I just let it dry naturally and then did the style the next day. But you can prep with a smoothing serum.

That was so much easier than other tutorials i have watched. My hair is just like urs strait and thick. A thing I've learned with the bobbie pens (that's what we call'em, lol) is that if you put them in wavy side down they will stay in place better.

Hi, watched this at the weekend and having been a 'Goth' most of my life I've now hit 35 and have been looking for ways to update my look. Tried this out with my now dark brown hair and some clip-in blue extensions and got so man y compliments! My 60's/ mod new look has gone down really well and might be here to stay :)

Oooh thatnks so much 4 this tutorial! It also looks super cute with a bandana. And for the ponytail part, I like to wrap a piece of my hair around it like a rubberband and use 2 bobbi pins to keep it n place. Thanks! :)
