Have you encountered anything more complex then a toaster? This timer only requires you to perform those numerical gymnastics if you're loading a new mode to your preset. It's built for second graders on up.

@desk3333 That maybe you don't have Chronos CC II but some other version. CC II has 12 user modes.

What I discovered is that the chronos touch chess clock does not work when it is near speakers or something that has magnetism. The touch buttons doesn't respond properly and the menu gets crazy. First I thought it was the battery, then discovered that it was the computer speaker...

how would I set a 2 12 time control? start with 2 minutes and add 12 second increment each time a move is made.

Go to mode CH-P4 for game under 10 min per player and set time 2:00 and increment to 0:12. Keep number of moves set to 1. Use CH-P5 for game 10 min or over per player, such as 10+15, 15+10, 20+10 etc. Optional: Include the increment amount in the starting time amount.

My chronos will not count negative when i set 'halt at end 0'. Is there a way to make it do this?

Why not buy a DGT XL? the buttons on the chronos are so small...very annoying for blitz!

Hey, some people prefer a complex world. No one has come out with as durable a clock yet. A lot of people have talked about it, but no one has done it yet.
