I recently found an old sock toe recipe on ravelry that i fell in love with. It staggers the decreases in such a way that you cant see/feel a band as the band drives me nuts while wearing them. I loke a super wide sock toe and the combination often looks a little ugly off the foot. But on the foot it feels heavenly.

Wow! I wonder why the wide band is more often used. I like that thin one.
