this is the perfect example of why overly-submissiveness doesn't work, Maisha wasn't ready for all the commitment and all the things he was offering when you give someone things you do it one at a time not all at once. Papa doesn't need to change he's a great partner and definitely and morally the best character on the show, he just was too much for Maisha still the least toxic and healthiest relationship in the chi.

Keep it a buck, papa was too soft for Maisha. He’s too sensitive, and wears his emotions in his sleeve. That doesn’t work out for most men. Not saying he should be cold or hardened but he should protect himself more.
