Wow! what a man of faith. I became disabled about 5 years ago and found it hard to cope (still do at times) I spent a period grieving for the life I'd lost and wondered why God allowed this to happen and why he didn't heal me. Now I know. I always found it hard talking to strangers about the Lord, now strangers and neighbours come up to me and ask 'how I'm disabled' and 'how to I keep so positive' I tell them, 'it's because I know the Lord will heal me completely when I go home to him'. Through my disability God gave me a way to spread the Good News of his kingdom.

Stories like the character Li'l James, and especially the REAL Life, person Nick, as well as your own cerebral palsy testimony-- TRUTH about those who, face physical struggles beyond that which many of us are currently facing-- these are the Answers to the problem of Theodicy -- and are TRULY inspiring. I'm learning to Praise God that one day there will be No more suffering, pain, tears, sorrow, violence, rape, human trafficking-- And that all other horrors of this Tragically Corrupt, fallen world 🌎🌍, and our own sin natures, will be done away with, as the Old Order, Heaven and Earth pass away, and we become Truly Complete in Him-- "being confident of this, that HE who began a Good Work in you will carry it on to completion until the Day of Christ Jesus ❣️" Phil 1:6 "No one Living in ZION will say, "I am ill"; and the sins of those who dwell there will be forgiven." Isaiah 33:24 "But our citizenship is in Heaven, and we EAGERLY await a Saviour from there, The LORD Jesus Christ, who, by the Power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies, so that they will be like His Glorious body. Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I Love and long for, my Joy and crown, that is how you should Stand Firm in the LORD, dear friends ❣️🙏🙌☝️" Philippians 3:20-21/4:1 consecutive verses, But all of Philippians 3 should be read, for the Full, Amazing context of God's WORD here, through His servant Paul.... - Love, because He First Loved us, 1 John 4:19, >another servant of Christ

I watched this scene over and over and I cried each time. I had to soak in the message. My struggle isn’t physical disability, it’s singleness. We are living in a time where most people don’t want to get married and they don’t treat marriage seriously. Meanwhile, I so desperately want to find a God fearing spouse. But I know if I hold on a little longer God will either provide me a marriage here on earth or at that meeting in the air. Like a bride waiting for her groom, we are a church longing for Him. My maker is my husband :)

I know how you feel mama. I've been looking since I was 16. I'm 38. We don't always understand or have all the answers. We know how debilitating loneliness and the depression it sometimes causes can be. But we have the Word. We know that the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of men. We know that the plans He has for us are to prosper us and grow us, and not to harm us. We know that He works all things for good to those whom love Him and call on His name. We know that He uses all things and all peoples in all walks of life and situations to bring glory to Him and His kingdom and one day there will be no more sorrow and all tears will be wiped away. Keep your chin up. The world can throw its best and worst at us. Be of good cheer for He has overcome the world. I'm praying for you sister. You got this.
@proverbs35652 жыл бұрын
I'm with you sister. I'm 41 and I've never been married. When Jesus said, "you will be healed. It's just a matter of time," I heard in my heart, "you will be married, it's just a matter of time." It will either happen here or it will happen in eternity but it will happen. The key for us in the process is to remain faithful in the waiting and that's what He's trusting us with. Just know you are not standing alone in this. Much love from Wisconsin ❤️

Been married twice, and sadly not by my choice I am not. I would love to be with a faithful husband, but I have handed that to God. If I'm meant to be married, and this time for life, God will arrange it. But, we've got the best groom a woman could ever hope for - our Lord Jesus. I don't mind that a bit. God bless Brittany. Stay true to Him and hold in there.
@JoJoUK20002 жыл бұрын
I had to wait until I was 57 before getting married. Along the way I met lots of great women who wanted to start a relationship with me but something always happened to prevent it from happening. I believe this was at least partly the work of the enemy. We have an adversary who opposes us at every turn. God could have intervened but He never did. That makes me feel intensely angry with Him. Now I'm married to a woman I met online. We got married just six months after we met. Within a month of marrying I realised she has some learning disabilities. It's a very difficult relationship. We're still together after eight years but I don't know how long it can go on for. It's very discouraging. Sometimes I think that God is a sadist! He blesses some of His 'children' and he abuses others. Otherwise why would he predestine billions of people for hell? Is God really good? I'm not the first person to wrestle with that question. In churches we glibly sing "God is good" while ignoring the billions of unbelievers he chooses not to reveal himself to, knowing that their destination is an eternity of intense suffering. If that's true then then this 'god' is many orders of magnitude worse than Hitler, Stalin, and all the other mass murdering dictators put together. What kind of insane theology is this anyway? If you ask me it's all a bit of a joke! A great title for a book would be " Christianity leads to insanity!" What do you think?

Jesus suffered horribly so you could be healed. It is not his will for your to suffer. Look to the word of God, not a TV show about God which is not scripturally accurate. God hates sickness and disease and we are told NOT TO FORGET all of His benefits, one being, who heals ALL of our diseases. This scene with James is not scriptural. And it is leading a lot of people astray to not stand in faith for healing.

That scene between Jesus and Little James really broke me a lot... I started crying uncontrollably and couldn't stop for a while. This scene really hit me hard because, just like Jordan, I'm also handicapped. I'm from Belgium and have a severe scoliosis. It shows even more than Jordan. (to be honest, I didn't even notice his' when I first started watching the show, until it was told.) Just like Little James, I used to always wonder myself why I was made this way, why I was born like this.... I wasn't raised religiously, I only became a Christian about 10 years ago, so I couldn't grasp it before. It's only this past year, while writing my own book about my life living with a handicap (coming out next year), that I started to realize that I WAS made for a reason. It's because of my handicaps that I've had amazing opportunities in my life and that I could serve Him as well! That's what I'm trying to do by also writing a book about my life with my handicaps, hoping to help others like us. I'm really happy that Dallas has casted Jordan as Little James, to show that EVERYONE is good enough to be one of Jesus' Disciples. That even people with a handicap are worthy enough to be this close to Jesus. This show has changed me so much, got me closer in my faith and taught me a lot as well about Jesus and his entire story so I wanna thank ya'll for that! And now, seeing this amazing interview is EXACTLY what I needed too! Listening to Nick has given me so much aha moments and I learned so much from it! Thank you Dallas and Nick for this much needed lesson😘💜

I need the Chosen to cover the entire New testament, even the old. It's so real. It's incredible, and it's changed the way I read the Bible as it brought a different perspective on who wrote the books etc. As I've seen the disciples' personalities it's brought the scriptures to life. Helpful for us visual learners

Ah Nick. My favourite human on earth. In Scripture classes in public primary schools my primary kids do their book work first so they can watch another Nick Video... "Can we watch Nick today?" I so often use the footage of his Dad saying "Oh, I think he will have a good life" and the TV footage of his school years because my kids are the same age. And then talk about feeling hopeless or worrying about the future - like Nick with "no job or marriage prospects" and then show him speaking in schools in Victoria and then positively declaring to Peter Overton that he expects to be married, and then finish up with videos of his wife, kids!!! Every kid loves Nick Vujic, and my kids even know how to pronounce his name. Love you Nick! Thankyou thankyou thankyou!

Fear is crippling. As he said at 1:50. As I am fighting the fear of rejection (although not being physically disabled at all, yet...) the only description I have for what is going on emotionally, is that I feel somebody put me in a straightjacket and it takes all my energy at times to fight it off. So much so that it I can not even concentrate on what is going on around me or focusing on the person I am talking to at that moment. Fear is a demon and we need to be delivered from it through Jesus.

I watched the chosen 3 season's episodes these days and felt such a profound love in my heart... I was agnostic, never had a religion, in the past I even doubted the existence of Jesus, thought it was just a philosopher... but these 1,5 last year I started to look for something that felt was missing... and I realised that I was sleeping... now I understand that I was missing the most important thing in life, like Nick said, the faith. When you have faith, you've the strenght to do everything you need. You find that you have God's love. So, we all can be like Nick, with a smiling heart 💖
