What a ridiculous comment. The degree of trust those two had to develop in each other is insane - of course they're going to have a strong emotional but platonic affection for each other. Overwhelming relief & joy is what you saw, so get your mind out of the gutter.

Regardless of his haircut/beard. That remark was supposed to be a dumb joke anyway - mission accomplished apparently._ I must say, I'm just as bored at this interview as Lee Mack appears to be. I don't blame him. 🙄 Chris McCausland is probably a nice guy. However, he's as funny as an over-enthusiastic uncle who tries hard to make everyone laugh during an awkward family dinner. Especially on Lee Mack's side. I have a feeling Chris's disability plays a major part in his success. Which is just sad, isn't it. 😢 [Note to Lee; please, let your hair grow out. This military cut you're sporting now is not the most ideal hair style for you. It absolutely doesn't fit your personality. Also, more beard, pls.]

His disability hasn’t held him back nor given him the sympathy vote as people have suggested on strictly.
