35 weeks is not a problem. The main concern was the baby being breach. How Lanie handled everything was out of extreme presence of mind in the worst of situations. She is one of the strongest women I have seen

Congratulations to all of you. Lanie I had a breach birth also 41 yrs ago. The only difference is he was full term. I got to the hospital because my back was hurting all day. No time able contractions I was told I wasn't in labor she walked out of the room my water broke they had to rush me to X-ray because they wanted to check the size of his head and make sure I could deliver him safely. Everything happened so fast, no meds from the time I got to the hospital to delivery was 1 hr. Nick (that's my son's name also) and Lanie he is perfect. He just needs a little time in the NICU because he was early. I know the girls are happy that bubba has arrived. Congratulations again. I am so happy for you all.

I also gave birth to my third child at 35 weeks at the end of last June. suddenly my water broke and I was panick for a little bit. because the two previous children were delivered by caesarean section where I didn't feel any signs of a normal birth at all. Finally I went to the emergency room because my water kept flowing. The next morning a caesarean section was performed, the water was empty, he survived for 18 hours and he was in the NICU for 4 days and was in the baby sick ward for 3 days. I felt the same as you when I first saw him filled with tools, it felt broken. I can't imagine how I would feel if I could go home without bringing my baby. Thank God, he was strong enough to face everything and we took him home on the seventh day. I really admire you for being able to give birth normally. you guys are really AMAZING! may God always protect you all ❤

I was breach and blue with the cord wrapped around my neck..I was dead..but my mom screamed to God ..and then the nurses all of a sudden hear heart beeps and here I am 68 years and going strong!! Praise God 🙏 CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR BABY BOY 👶 ❤

Just be thankful that God was with you and your son. He's beautiful and will be a joy to your family. I never had a baby but I watched my great niece when she was born. She came so fast the nurse had to hold her in for a little while, while all of the equipment needed was in the room. Boy howdy that was a fantastic moment in my life as my Mother and I had stayed up all night and watched from the bathroom in the room my niece was in. Afterwards I drove us home which was fifty miles away. Hopefully I never forget that day. Now that little baby is twenty six years old and married. How time has flown. Enjoy your prescious boy and I hope he'll grow up big and strong especially with two older sisters to help take care of him. Thank you. For letting me see another baby be born. Oh what memories it brought back. God be with you and God bless.

My son was in NICU for a week. His lungs weren't developed completely. I couldn't touch him nor feed him for a week. I completely understand how you felt, Lanie. Congratulations on the arrival of the bundle of joy! May he lives a healthy life ahead. Ameen.

Story time: I was born on 7/10/11. My mom gave birth to me on July 10th, 2011, at 5:30 PM. I was in the hospital for 3 months because my eyes were messed up. This led me to have surgery 2 times at 2 months & 1 year old. Currently 13 years old. I don't remember what my surgery looked like, lol. I wasn't breached, thankfully.

Oh goodness, that's rough.. I literally bawled my eyes out for your pain. On some level I do know how you guys were feeling. My second baby was born 17 minutes after arriving at the hospital and she had to be in the nicu for a while as well with fluid in her lungs. Now she is 14 months old and doing amazing. It was so rough seeing her in the little cot with the tubes and everything, but constantly reminding myself that she was where she needed to be and was getting the best care possible, made me feel a bit better. I pray the fluid dries up quickly and he gets to be with you all at home soon. Sending prayers and love to a family I don't know, but feel a kinship to. ❤

I have followed your delightful adventures with the two little personalities who happen to be your daughters and now you have a third small person to outflank you! Have you ever watched the UK series "Outnumbered"? 🤣 Lanie - you are a wonderful Mom and a brave person - I just want you to know that (from Jo in the UK x). You are all truly blessed. In the UK we call NICU - Special Care Baby Unit. - SCBU. I was a premature baby (8 weeks premature) myself so had to spend quite a while there! I cried buckets watching this! Lainey, darlin' you did so well. I was pushing right along with you and I am a Nana! Nick you did wonderfully hon, with the partner, husband thing. You did so well with the video, being respectful of your sweet girl but still managing to show what she was going thru. That darlin' lil fellow went thru so much to get here and it sounds like the drs & nurses were top notch. Then when the girls came, Blakely was so sweet I just wanted to hug her.
