Been at meetings with 50+ Vincents. Only one special is one that is complete original. We all make modifications. In order to keep them pleasant and safe to ride.

I was offered a Vincent black shadow way back when I was 18 years old 69 now I was going to get married and a friend in work said if I didn’t get married he would give me the Vincent but stupid got married and a few years later she left me.never a day goes by without me wishing I had taken the bike I would still have that bike today i would never ever sold it .R.I.P Ken

2:07 Mighty Mouse and Super Mouse are sprinters built by Brian Chapman. He built the Comet-based bike first. It started as a fairly standard Comet, and gradually.... evolved. The bike shown is the final form, in the late 1970s. He did a best time of 8:81seconds for the 1/4 mile. It beat a LOT of serious competitors on really big bikes. Then he built a twin on similar principles, and was about a second quicker

Yes he did a 1955 Vincent D Series Black Shadow.

Most terrifying bikes ever built, I heard a story of a Vincent being dumped in a skip in stration after the death of a house owner which was stored in a garage, the motorcycle had been involved in the death of a family member, if true the skip company had a good day.
