Oh my goodness gracious !!!! The is the totally best cover of any song I've ever heard. Being 70, I remember Jimi Hendrix's version and this honestly is just as good. I sure do! I just saw them in Morristown NJ, and they were fantastic. This guitarist wasn't there as there were some lineup changes, but the chosen music and the band members were very talented. One of the best times I have had in a long time. Played for and hour, then 30 minute intermission, then another hour and a half including encores.

Respectfully, I've seen these guys do some incredible covers, but this is not one of them. He neglects to include any of Jimi's great rhythmic fills in between the vocal lines. That is most likely due to his having to concentrate on his singing. To do Hendrix justice, you must match his fluidity, which this guy does not on this particular cover.

This performance by these master musicians is by far the most respectful cover of a cover. In my humble opinion the best I’ve seen and heard to date !!! For those who may not know, Bob Dylan originated the song in 1967. Jimmy Hendrix covered it in such a magnificent way that Bob Dylan then performed it using some of Jimmy’s techniques from then on. But these guys have done to Jimmy Hendrix’s rendition what Jimmy did for Bob Dylan’s !!! It is simply fantastic !!! Many well known and established bands have covered it in many with an artistic style of their own. But none like The Classic Rock Show !!! I invite you to listen to this performance with your eyes closed and head phones on. It is simply magic !!! I can almost see Jimmy smiling wide, eyes closed headbangin’ in approval saying yes !!! Yes !!! That larger than life image in the background was to me a beautiful homage to Jimmy overlooking the stage and audience. Well done !!!
