Try attaching your thumb "ring" to the larger rings portion at your wrist; I think this would be more comfortable, and keep the "ring" in place when worn.

I love the complexity and detail of the things you make! I can’t afford to make jewellery for myself, as my skin is so intolerant of any metals other than gold or surgical steel; but that doesn’t stop me from finding your videos inspiring.

What a wonderfully impractical but beautiful glove/bracelet/gauntlet thingie! It looks right for a midnight ball! I guess you could use a little solder to reinforce the jump rings- but that might discolour the metal. It would definitely take too much time though!
