Welcome to this video where we show you how to sync data from a SharePoint site to your local PC.
This task is often used when data access is needed on a very regular basis and you prefer to have it access from your local Windows Explorer. This way the files can be accessed in real time in the Cloud and also offline if you are working in an environment with no internet such as an aircraft. When a connection is made again the files are automatically synced back to SharePoint. Here we show you how this can be done and some best practice items around it too. Having the ability to manage all your synced data with OneDrive and via the desktop client is definitely another string to your bow in navigating the new technologies available in the Microsoft 365 environment.
