Ending wise? Or if I was granted the powers as a super hero? I mean curing the plague and destroying all conduits sounds good, but the evil ending is also good in it's own way. In the short term, you kill millions of innocent people for a few that have super powers. But in the long term..we would live in a future techincally full of super humans. A superhuman metropolis!

I don't think John knew about the RFI (I might be wrong) but I don't think they knew for sure if it would've cured the plague. If it didn't cure the plague the human race would've died out, and it would've killed the conduits that could survive in the process. So it's a very risky choice

NO!!! The good side ending was so much better and emotional!!! I don't like this ending! I have to say, I hated Zeke throughout both of the games, but at the end of the good karma ending, I had found a new respect for Zeke. I actually liked him, and it was so sad in the good ending when (spoiler) he ended up living through everything, Cole died (Which I cried over because I loved Cole) Nix sacrificed herself to save Cole and died, and Kuo accepted the fate of dying in the end. Then Zeke told the rest of the story and I loved it so much!

I agree with you in a way bro. In the first game Kessler asked Cole the question, which is more important? The life of one..or many..Kessler preferred many..but if it was like this, where 1 out of every thousand or so people could become superpowered..that is the next level of evolution. Why choose 1 million soldiers when you could have only 1 Goku/Kratos/Cole/Jak/Ratchet/Sly right? After the world has been reduced to only super powered humans, the future would look bright!

Evil Cole wanted to help the non-Conduits too but he wasn't sure if the RFI can actually cure the plague living inside them. Even the Good Cole hesitates a bit, he saw what John's powers can actually do, that he can guarantee to heal people with the Conduit gene inside them.

Except for the final mission, I really like the good karma missions better. They're all smarter tactics in the long run, but the final mission, on evil karma, is a guarantee, while the good final mission is a huge gamble.

Interesting storyline. I'm not sure that choosing the evil ending is truly evil. I just finished the game with good karma. Now, when making the decision which path to choose in the end, you know that the beast will end the plague and the human race WILL continue, with evolved human beings, in a completely different world, whereas using the RFI is a big risk, it will kill all the Conduits and may not stop the plague. If the RFI does not stop the plague and the conduits are dead then the human race is dead. So you have a choice between (EVIL) sure survival of humanity (new version of humanity anyway), with definite mass murder, OR (GOOD) potential end of human race / potentially curing millions (nothing is sure, except that conduits will die and there is no backup plan). In the game I chose the good karma, because the game tells me it is good, but if faced with such a decision in real life, I'm not sure the decision would be so clear cut. Conduits could be a way for humans to migrate from Earth, evolve faster and still keep their humanity (as Cole does and even Kuo and Nix at times). At the good karma ending, Zeke says something along the lines that even though some say Conduits are not human, Cole is the greatest human that ever lived. Interesting to ponder...

I like the good ending better. While Cole is definitely an interesting both as a good and an evil character, this ending feels somehow rushed. All the emotional weight just sort of disappears when The Beast suddenly decides to kill himself. It just comes out of nowhere and is in no way satisfying.

I have a feeling that if more fans want Cole to be back in the series, Sucker Punch will create a way to bring him back to life. I mean, it is possible. John White was thought to be dead and WAPOW! big twist! He is actually the beast, a great conduit that has come back to life. In the good ending of the story, the boat gets struck by lightning, so if you guys want to see inFAMOUS 3 wiht Cole MacGrath in it, well then we better start petitioning because Delsin Rowe's story and character. is NOT in any way as interesting and intriguing as Cole's. Playing Second Son, got me all fucked up and disappointed in so many ways. Story was too straight forward and there were no "WOAH" moments, unlike inFAMOUS 1 & 2. Delsin's character is so blunt that is gets boring, unlike Cole MacGrath's mysterious and dark story, it is actually interesting. I gave inFAMOUS 1 &2 a 9.5 out of 10 while I gave Second Son an 8 out of 10.

***** This. Yes, we need this! Second Son's real ending is the evil ending, and having Cole have his ice powers from inFamous 2. I was thinking Cole could maybe get one or two new powers since Delsin has 4 I believe. Maybe Cole could recieve Beast like powers like John had, but for the good of humanity. Along the way, he can recieve blast cores to power him up, and possibly transfer powers with him and a new conduit friend. Another idea is that Cole had the RFI with him and altered it into another ray sphere to unlock more conduit genes from his body, granting new types of powers and powers.

Okay, how is this not canon? Shouldn't Delsin and Augustine had died to? From the looks of things, even conduits that weren't activated (and on the other side of the world) died when the rfi was activated. I'm pretty sure Second Son takes place after Infamous 2. From what I've seen, we got a vision of the Beast in one of the memories. (big red imposing figure with orange circles around his hands representing his conduit status) I honestly think one of the characters might of even gotten their powers from one the blasts by the Beast himself. Again, why are Augustine, Delsin, and the other Conduits in Second Son still living if the Good ending is canon? For spoiler reasons, I left out the name of certain individual, who's memories is what I'm referring to.
