Ahh, dear Helen, you sound so defeated. The shop is okay, the situation is okay, and we just now need you to be okay. 🤗 In the grand scheme of things in life, the situation was nowhere near devastating so please try and remember all of your amazing wins (of course, SO much easier said than done) when bumps in the road come along. There are a lot of people rooting for you simply because of you…just the way you are. ❤

You should never feel like you have to apologize for showing emotion or being vulnerable. It makes you more real, relatable, at least to me. Everyone has bad days, weeks, months, years. Plus, the people who have been with you on this journey thus far are here for a reason. I don’t think anyone will be turned off or unsubscribe just because you don’t have a perfectly planned week or something happens and plans change or whatnot. We’re all here to support you, encourage you, and give you words of comfort if needed.

Helen, you, your team and family have impacted lives of planners, doers, dreamers and tinkerers. Please don’t feel bad and certainly do not stop caring for yourself. Think of it this way, when you care for yourself you are actually doing it for all of us. Take care. And if there’s anything I can do, please just reach out. Much love xx

Turn the dip pen as you write. This produces a more consistent line, and helps reduce blobs. Before you start writing fully submerge the spiral section in the ink, and very gently dab the side of the pen against the ink container to remove the excess.

I found a pencil board, similar to this one, on Jet Pens. It's large but I cut it down to size for my Cousin and Weeks. Your videos are always so relaxing and enjoyable. Thank you!!! Also, the announcement this week wasn't too upsetting, in fact, I think it's amazing that you're doing so well PLUS a TCMC sale after black Friday is even better. Now I don't have to rush to your site and have time to budget more for your shop. I'm sure others feel the same. Big hugs to you!

Helen when you recover from all the work of your last release congratulate yourself. I’ve noticed that growth isn’t a smooth curve in real life; it’s more like quantum leaps. And a very big thank you for not making Advent boxes limited. I know it’s crazy but these help me through Christmas’ when I still very much dislike that I live alone. This will be my first year with yours but after watching sneak preview I’m even more excited

Someone may have already stated this but I use the longer dip pens (love the size of yours) but I dip the tip not going past the midline. Then urn the pen tip up and watch the ink move down the tip. When it fills the channels it is pulled away from the tip. Then write with it. When it fluid again turn the tip up. This is how I write with it. If you use too much it will flood every time and to little you would get one word down. Thank you for all you do! Please know, you can never make everyone happy and you need to make sure the first one that is happiest is you!!!!!

Helen… have you ever considered using a fulfillment center for your busy months or large sales? I’ve heard that when the scaling of businesses occurs kind of fast it can take its toll on the owner and some of them have said that they can focus on other aspects of their business and life when they don’t have to focus on the packing and shipping aspect. Just curious if that would be a win win option for you… you get a break and there is no interruption in your sales.

Hi Helen! Quick question - do you flip back and forth between weekly and daily for the To-Do Lists? One of the reasons I hesitate about changing over to a bound planner (I like the Cousin) is wondering if I would be constantly flipping back and forth in the book. As opposed to a ring or disc, where I pull the pages out and keep them nearby for reference. Love your videos!!! You're an inspiration. I think you deserve more food treats. And more books. These are not mutually exclusive. LOL

Well, this was interesting to watch (quickly). I find it quite interesting that someone as busy as you are actually will spend all that extra time to pick stickers and then make sure they are put down perfectly, etc. Also, I see that you do not seem to set aside any time for regular household "stuff" that really needs to get done. like preparing meals, etc. I guess you have a lot of help
@TheCoffeeMonsterzCo2 жыл бұрын
Picking stickers and planning is a quick form of self care that I have, and it really is the only form of self care these days. I also do a lot of household chores but that is pretty much a given and I don't need to plan it out. As shown in the video, my meals take less than 5 minutes to put together (e.g. a bread roll and a package of tofu) so it's nothing that needs to be written out. But when I do big household things like cleaning the bathroom, I will write it out also as shown in the video ^_^
@kat10082 жыл бұрын
I do not write out my routine daily tasks either, to me they’re a given, I use my planner to lay out the extras- specific project work, emails, errands, etc. If I wrote my routine daily tasks I wouldn’t enjoy my planner as much 🤪 But, everyone uses theirs the way it works best for them: there is no wrong way, and no judging 😊
