Turning all these excessive buttons to a passive is a HUGE win! We need more of this…my ele shaman is super fun but the bloat of buttons and buffs are annoying af..i literally have a 6 button castsequence macro for all my buffs like lightning/earth shield, skyfury, flametongue, shield buff and ALL of them have a global…seriously make all that crap a passive and just keep skyfury as global to cast on other players. Way too many buttons clogging the screen. Even without the buffs the shaman has way too many combat buttons. I hope the reduce them to passives and just keep the essentials as abilities.

I have no problem playing with all of these buttons and knowing what each one does. There are plenty of games that has minimized the buttons and put it on easy mode there's even AFK games that you don't even have to log in for. You can just log in and get loot

i have carpal tunnel and im PISSED. finally dove deep into wow after years of being a filthy (1 monthy a year avg) casual for like 15 years, and on what seems to be a really great expansion for people like me (lots of solo, havnt found a community yet, thouht i want to). Alas i must watch youtube and take it eassy for a bit. ill still do some content but obviously i cant do more than there bare minimum

Is it easier for you to hold a controller? I have bad carpal tunnel but found using the console port addon and my ps5 remote to play wow is a lot less taxing on my hands. I still play at my desk to use the keyboard to type and do stuff that doesn’t translate well on controller but I do 90% of everything with it. Changed my life

That change to Thistle Tea & Slice and Dice are very welcome. Not having to worry about those could make things like higher tier delves much less stressful for me as one of the things I'm struggling with on my assassination spec is energy on long fights. I suspect that is because I am not using Thistle Tea correctly and I'm struggling with S&D, wasting valuable energy and combo points by refreshing it when I don't have to and/or by forgetting about it entirely, thus creating my own no win situation.

As assasination you actually don't thistle too often, just take your time and don't spam and it gets a lot better

Or possibly all of these. Regardless, automation of it should remove the human error factor to a degree.

@@timbert4672 just do S&D in opener and envenom will proc it everytime you use it, ambush, garrote, rupture, S&D and then obviously more but the rupture will give you one combo point, so only use S&D on 1 combo point otherwise you’re wasting combo points

It is actualy bad, imagine you hace 1 tea left, your next burst is comming off cd in 15 sec, if you fall under 30 energy and tea is gone you wont have it for burst.... Adding an option for auto or manual use would be better because now you would need to watch not to go under 30 energy

Sorry but why dont paladins get their buffs back? We got it back not so long ago and they took it again? Literally the most iconic buff of the game. We need to bring back the importance of buffs and not take away every single one and make it passive... I will never forget how happy I was during leveling when I got a random priest or paladin buff because mobs went down waaay esier. I hope in the future a WOW 2 will come out that would restart the whole game back to the classic leveling feeling but with retail endgame.

I love the concept they have going for the mage but, I seriously wish they would stop make this over complex design based around spell queuing. The only way for me to track my spells is to have an Addon that tracks the gap between my spells and I have to mash the hell out of buttons to be relevant DPS. At the end of a raid I feel like the grandma in Happy Gilmore. "My fingers hurt!"

People made macros for it anyways. What Blizzard is trying to do is remove all these ability management's. They're trying to remove their bloated button play style that everyone hated. Destro just needs a good overhaul at this point, or at least give us Cataclysm baseline Affliction and the manually agony mobs between vile taint is a huge 🤮! The list goes on.. like i said the best tree’s getting better really starting to annoy me.

​@@Imtoogodlygames It's not asking for handouts. Blizzard has stepped into a direction to increase solo play but then hoard all the higher end stuff behind group play. Doesn't seem like they really care about the solo player when they do that. If you are going to add a solo path for players then you can't really get mad if you don't complete that path. Maybe not give those crests for this anniversary thing, but add them to higher level delves or similar. And really this whole anniversary event is just for the transmog community and means nothing to anyone else. Except for the rare drop from a world boss or more group content (heroic raids) you don't get anything that is useful. Throw in a bag that you can buy with the bronze currency that has a chance to give you higher level crests. Bam, done.

It's always worth it to play late in any MMO or expansion as you will most likely enjoy your time. There are a lot of catch up mechanics to make the catch up process easier.
