At that time I was working at a local comic shop and I was 1st in line for Batman 89 at our local theater.... spent all day in the heat with friends listening to the Dr Demento Batman special that I had taped off of the radio, having a good time.... the news came out and interviewed the people 2nd in line, totally passing us over. They had the movie playing in 3 theaters and there was a mad dash to the seats with some of our group ending up in different theaters.... the lines were huge and it was quite the event.

10:24 - heard that about Thor 229 before, but Key Collector shows that book as being published a week after Hulk 181 (which obviously means it was after 180 as well).

He's right about the pricing if you have a price gun. Also the colours are similar and 1 in 20 people are colourblind so it's not so accessible for them

That and the stickers on the book didn’t match the colors on the pricing key. Colors were printed on computer and colors didn’t match up at all.

People are more inclined to look for bargains under your current system because you probably round down the price anyways. An $18 book for $15 is more likely to be pulled out.

The 9.9 are going to be for the rich people. Common folk are going to have to "settle" for the 9.8. HOWEVER, there will be a TON of 9.9 modern dreck available but so what. There is also already a ton of 9.8 modern dreck.

The guy with the kid needs to hurry up. She cant just sit in that stroller all day. She clearly wants out. I have 3 kids and no way i just leave one in a stroller for more than an hour. Even if im having a field day looking for comics, it doesnt matter. But shoutout to Sara and everyone else rocking her stroller and giving her attention. Good hearted people

I think your pricing method with the stickers is good and effective. individually pricing books is effective for getting the most amount of profit so for a store it makes sense but you guys are always cutting deals so I don’t think individual pricing is worth it.

I disagree. The guy was right stop being lazy and price your books. To be a good vendor is to price each of your books that have value. Angelo doesn't know how to sell and these guys just tell him how it is. He's an inexperienced seller.

I know your doing a comics sale at you're place but why sell them for that low if you already priced them at they raw condition price.. I don't understand how you make profit if your selling them that low just to make the buyers happy. I buy from a comics store and hold for about 6 months then if they have gone up I try to sell for an extra $35.00 and people still try to lower the price to what I paid. I am not liking the comic market if people want to buy low and sell high.. where is the profit ??
