Of course the "used universe" is coming back--it never left. The prequels just showed us the bright center of the universe, many more cultures with distinct tastes, and the more well-maintained and artistic crafts of a better age. Even with that expansion of the scope of the galaxy, though, we still saw beaten down and rusted war ships and buildings, among many other things, that we saw in the OT.
