Lu will do a duel dueling identity. He’s also referring to the inspiration Amy Whinehouse as a battle rapper. The track before this one is about their first battle rap. This is a braggadocios celebration. So he’s saying he’s Lu and Amy dueling other identities in battle rap.

I'm eager for new Lupe. He continues to have true mastery over his craft. It's not even fair to other artists who might think of themselves as deep or constructive when you place their work against Lupe's. Goodness gracious, the number of times I've felt like I was in college, working on a research paper, when listening to Lupe is something I really enjoy. Drill Music in Zion is such a polished diamond that I'm still catching some of the layers in it. The reason there won't be another Lupe is because it's simply not possible. He is unique and has had such a unique careee that it would feel forced if anybody tried to emulate his style. Justin has always gave him his proper respect and that's why he is one of my favorite hip hop media coverage specialists. Keep grinding and bringing us the insight man. ✌🏽

Lupe has an album called Samurai and a song on the album where he says "he's won, the many things he's done, BUT THIS ONE HERE" this song and with how I know how deeply Samurai reflects Lupe gives me the total vibe of after he dropped T&Y and he said sit in a dark room and listen on repeat, I still haven't totally grasped that album but it's my favorite album of all time... Gettin candles ready for Samurai

I'm pretty confident he's saying "Lu will do a dual identity, dueling enemies" which has the added layer of Carrera Lu and Lupe dueling enemies but also him dueling himself as a dual identity, which he has alluded to in the past on AUTOBOTO. Also just doesn't sound right for him to reuse duel in that line twice.

I would say that this flow is much more complex than the Houdini schemes. However, I also felt like Houdini was pretty low bar for Em. Felt like single Em. Similar to Lupe on a Hip Hop Saved My Life. Definitely stuff in there, but the point is to catch what he's saying and ride the beat with him. This is (like Justin said) more in Lupe's Dumb it Down bag. Not so much accessible, but more impressive.

Nah man!! I think at this point Kendrick is invincible and he knows how to handle situations. He just showed us that to win a battle you have to have grip on all aspects - timing, angle, metaphors, style, delivery, cadence everything has to be perfect. And Kendrick is by far the most calculated rapper at this point. I love Lupe but I think Lupe will rely on his concept, flow and delivery. But Kendrick has the culture on his palms. It'll be close one but Kendrick will win. He just doesn't miss!!

“It’s All Happening,” here’s a quick tip to help you with your lighting setup. Use a softbox to get that nice, even lighting on your face without harsh shadows. When setting up your shot, expose for the background so it looks great and well-lit. To fill in any shadows on your face, try using a fill light. And don’t forget about a reflector-it can work wonders! A warm-colored reflector, like gold, can match and enhance your skin tone beautifully. Silver is also a great option, and even a blue one can add a cool, unique look. Keep creating awesome CULTURAL content, and take care!

Wow Lupe has always been like a Burrito you bite into but there's no sour cream and guac. Let him go Yes, he can rap but he hasn't made a culture shifting album Like, look at this FBA/ADOS situation, which he could've spoke to as a Liberian immigrant, who grew up in a major city with a black American majority population among blacks. Nobody cares about how good you can rap, after a certain point. That's why Tupac is more cherished than Biggie

You do know he, and his family, have literally been doing work, in the streets of Chicago, like real activist do for years right? From the schools to food drives to summer reading programs to even sweeping & cleaning up the parks and other places. This is what's wild. If somebody isn't viral & showcasing something, just so others (who only got critiques but no work ethic), then somehow they won't e "validated". That's a real problem. Folks just want to be loud. And, like Neely Fuller Jr said, they will willingly find a reason, because that poison is self sustaining.
