Adrian, a wonderful video. Thank you so much for uploading and sharing. My Dad was my fishing buddy right to the end and my sentimentality kicked in again watching your beautiful film. Great bass content too. Thanks again, mate.

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a beautiful place. Lost my dad many years ago. Before he got sick and past. He said to me, let’s go Surf fishing, which my dad loved to do. He said I want to go out there one more time. I didn’t understand at the time. This was early October. That next spring he was gone. We did not catch any fish that day but we had fun. Itsall about the memories you make in the end.

Great video mate. Love the look of beaches like that for bassing. Me and the wife are heading to St Just from Teignmouth in early September for a week. I shall throw a rod and box of lures in the car. Just googled is that mansands up my way, not too far from Brixham?
@TheConstantAngler4 ай бұрын
@@stevewest4750 that’s the one. Unfortunately it is a bit too close to it so gets netted, hence the smaller fish

Can I ask what time you think it's best to catch bass? On high tide? Before or after? I've never had any luck with bass, this year I'm on a mission to get my first!! Thanks
@TheConstantAngler3 ай бұрын
I would fish the first two hours of the flood. It really depends on your mark though. Other marks are 2-3 hours up and some the first two hours of the ebb. Look for structure and tide. I have another mark I fish where the tide covers a reef on the biggest of spring tides and the fish are there 1 hour before high tide until 1 hour after. If you know there are fish at your mark fish it at all states of tide, all sizes of tide and times of the season plus direction of wind. You will find particular times when they are there. It will then be the same year after year.
