I can't wait for your Thriller ranking video. Thrillers are my very favorite genre, and I do enjoy Alice Feeney. That was my choice. The book you chose about China is going to be a tough one for you. China has had a very traumatic past. I chose Rental House instead. Lots of gorgeous covers this month. That has become the way I guess BOTM's offerings. Thanks you for Blogmas!

I was going to skip this month but I knew I needed to wait for this video first 😂 I’m going to go (way) out of my comfort zone and take your recommendation for “The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year” I’m not much of a romance reader but the mystery element has me intrigued. Plus I’m kind of in the mood for something easy and holiday themed 👍 thank you for making these videos!

I know BoTM has this categorized as a romance and I guess that is accurate, but I also think the mystery element is a major part of the plot. I feel like it was as prominently featured as the romance, if not more so. It was just a fun time, not something to take too seriously, but at the same time, I also thought the characters were pretty well fleshed out and stuff. It was super cute!

I personally got the Christmas murder muster and the Alice Feeny book. I'm not a romance reader, but that one sounded fun! I've only read Daisy Darker and Rock Paper Scissors. I really enjoyed those so hopefully this one is good!

I hope you enjoy both! I had a great time with Most Wonderful Crime and I liked A Winter in New York as well. It was a bit harder hitting then I was expecting. Both are solid reads.

Hi Brittany! Great video! loved the selections this month! I got Beautiful Ugly(which I’m so excited to read and love all her books) Most Wonderful Crime of the Year(I’ve read it now and really enjoyed it), and all three of Alex Michaelides’ books (which I’ve read all of and love and wanted to have hard copies of). Great month for BOTM for me! I’m sad to say, though, that I skipped on Aardvark because I wasn’t into the picks and I hope they bounce back next month because I love their service and have enjoyed past months.

We definitely have very different reading tastes and I dislike both Alice Feeney and Alex Michaelides! Lol!! But I am glad you were able to stuff your box! I don't prefer Aardvark so I don't currently subscribe but I know they offer a lot of alternative selections that people really enjoy.

I got the Alice Feeney one and The Thirteenth Child. This will be my 3rd book by Alice Feeney, I loved Daisy Darker but was meh about Rock Paper Scissors.

I have somewhat opposite feelings. I hated Daisy Darker and thought Rock, Paper, Scissors was decent, primarily because of the twist.

I ended up skipping this month. I already have The Thirteenth Child and I also have the audio to Ally Carter’s book. I didn’t feel like I really needed any hardcovers this time around as the rest of the selections were kind of meh for me. I rather try Alice Feeney on audio if I decide to try her books. I am interested in seeing what January brings.

I'm not thrilled with the Dec. selections. Chose Beautiful Ugly + added I Might Be in Trouble. I've only read Sometimes I Lie by Feeney, years ago + it was ok. 2nd chance for this author.
