@@suhbreaux6256 not sure what you're asking but you are allowed to venture out yourself without your friends near you. And if you think you've gone too far there is a button you can hold down to teleport back to them, and if the host leaves the host title is transferred to someone else in the lobby at random

What a steal for $20 bucks... This game's demo was polished like crazy, was super super happy to see the multiplayer was /is as polished.. Crazy good game and deserves WAY more than 5k CCU on steam.. I played with two friends last night and we did two runs. Game looks amazing in ultra ultra wide too.. 9/10 imo

I’m tempted to just buy it at the current price and shelf it until they’re done. Even if it’s really fun, this just doesn’t strike me as the kind of game I’ll maintain interest in for a year and beyond.

If Dead Cells couch co op is something you'd really enjoy, I highly suggest checking out Astral Ascent. It's a lot like Dead Cells, but a very different art direction. But it's still insanely fun. I love Dead Cells, but Astral Ascent is just top notch for me. It's my absolute favorite roguelite.

These games are perfect for console yet they take so long to give us a console version :/ I'm tired. Not everyone has friends who play on PC.

It's always been this way and always will. If you want variety and more early access games you need a PC. If you're OK with waiting for a more polished experience, then console is great for that.

@@jshklt I know but honestly it's so easy to port games to consoles these days. We'll eventually get it in 2 years but ZzzzZzzz. I play a lot of coop games with my friends on consoles but they don't even have PCs to play on.

Early access games will never come out on consoles because they're constantly being updated and platform holders like Microsoft and Sony have a review process before each update can be pushed out. You can't prototype a game when you constantly need to sit and wait for reviews. That and maybe platform holders only want complete games on their storefront.

@@sigil8784 There have been a few early access games on Xbox. I saw them on Gamepass. They are called preview games. There aren't any on PS though. I wish sony and microsoft were more accessible and would let the customer decide if they want to buy an early access game or not. Oh well.

The first real boss is a trillion times harder than it should be. Dude did 118 damage in one hit and wiped all three of us with a trash teleport move. Got me wanting to delete it already.

Nope! 😂. There is a lot of average/below average garbage out there, but rogue style games are my favorite. I like the structured nature of them. The time required is usually less then these “lifer” games. And when done correctly, damn… just Magic

Anyone else getting a little tired of roguelikes? I feel like every other game nowadays is a roguelike. Maybe it's just me... I'd love this to be more of an open world to run around with friends and hack and slash some fools, with a good story and missions along the way.

I prefer roguelikes by far. It's hard to make a good open world games with sense and most of the time just makes you roam arround going A to B as fast as you can, wasting a lot of time traveling watching the environment. Even MMORPGs have quest systems just to move between checkpoints to progress. Roguelikes are perfect to just spend a couple of hours entertained like a football match or a film. That's why I think there is not so many games to spend multiple hours like Conan Exiles or Satisfactory type games.

I wish they made the styles of games most Roguelikes are but removed the Roguelike elements just a linear top down game would be ideal but those don't really exist as much so I personally deal with the Roguelike elements for the gameplay I like.
