Dealing with Gestational Diabetes | Shopping for Baby Girl’s Nursery | VLOG #6

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes between 24-25 weeks! My journey has not been the easiest in more ways than one BUT I know it will all be worth it when our baby girl is here! Please note, what I eat/how I administer my insulin/how much I eat is not the only way-everyone is different and this has been the best plan for ME. I am not a doctor nor diabetic specialist so please seek medical advice 🤗

I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes at 11 weeks pregnant and after delivery diagnosed with type 2. I never felt that it was the correct diagnosis because my sugars were always crazy, even on metformin and the small amount of insulin I was on. I actually had type 1 and was misdiagnosed for years and was incredibly sick. I’m on a pump and dexcom now and my diabetes is so much more controlled.
