Awwwwhhh, Devon I’m right there with you with the edema! My husband gets all freaked out when I push on my leg and make an indent that looks like hail damage, haha! Then my husband is the one who is type 1 diabetic so it’s interesting watching you deal with all the same things we do for his diabetes with a slightly different continuous glucose monitor. Praying for your health through the rest of your pregnancy and for you to have as gentle and calm of a delivery as possible of that big baby boy. 🙏🏼 God Bless your sweet little family!!!

Those summer babies can bring on the swelling. My August baby had me so swollen and uncomfortable. It took a week for it to all go away post partum. I lost 8 lbs in less than 24 hrs day 6 post baby and it was such a relief!

Right? My 28 yr old was August and 18 yr old July. The heat in central Florida drives up the swelling I feel. No diabetes or pre-eclampsia but man the swollen body! Oof.

Just to let you know, the wrist cuffs are not the best to get accurate blood pressures! This is because of blood pooling in the extremities and not a major arterie read! We recommend upper arm cuffs.

Oh my goodness my feet were indistinguishable with my second child. I didn't have preeclampsia but the swelling was alarming. I ended up taking an early leave from work and once I was in not on my feet, teaching all day, the swelling reduced significantly.

Oh girl- no one told me how sad it would be to come home from the hospital to my 3 year old after giving birth. The first hug when you get home, your first baby feels SO BIG! it’s indescribable but so sad!!!!!

The medical industry is wild. Don’t pump because it might induce labor, but we’re gonna induce labor anyways instead of letting your body do what it does naturally. I feel so sorry for those women stuck in the medical establishment or feel they have to be. Good luck to you.
