Back in the day if the chrome was acceptable we would just buy a spring clip that would slip under the lid to keep it from sagging. Greasing the new one is a great tip!

Thanks again for sharing your knowledge. I have one suggestion though. Since you probably have tons of parts around, maybe you can show the procedure outside of the door with the parts on a table of sort. Not be able to see what is going on inside that door doesn’t help much. Thx again!

I'll have to remember this tip for when I fix the passenger door on my car. I hope that the antitheft gards that are in the later C3's can be removed with the latch.

greetings ben. I have a 1976 corvette, I want to replace the entire brake line on the corvette. I want to know if the brake pipe on the 1975 corvette is the same as the 1976 one. Thank you

I definitely like your way better. It's really difficult to find tiny people small enough to fit inside that tiny hole, and most of them don't even have their own tools. Just kidding. Thanks for the upload, Ben!
