Buying sight unseen a recent ILLENESS brought on by KZbinrs who think will become rich by monetization of video`s look at what I am doing !!!! That hunk of pure crap will never be worth the work and money that will make it at least road worthy . Stripped for salvageable parts will not equal what you paid for it ...even if you exclude your labor to part it out .

Just wow. I read the ebay description and it was pretty vague about the condition of the car. Not sure if you have any recourse with the seller.

I have a 1984 Corvette and it runs great and I have zero problems with it. And it's my everyday car. I guess I'm one of the lucky ones😊. Oh by the way I do call the Corvette Christine.😂. Maybe that's why it runs good still.

I bought a '73 as a project and it came with a bunch of extra parts. A lot of these extras were from a red '77. This video makes me wonder how much of this stuff is actually worth some beers.

Are any of those vehicles sufficiently rare to justify spending any time or money to restore them? I would think not. They look to be just a bunch of parts that are still connected by junk.

The '69 Vette was a masterpiece. As long as you expected a restoration project and you didn't pay through the nose for it, I'd say you did pretty good. Of course I've never seen a Corvette with such a rotted frame, but there's a first time for everything. I wonder what a donor frame would cost? If I could find one, that's exactly what I'd do with that body... It looks too perfect. Just a personal taste thing, but I'd also run the original style turbine wheel covers and skinny white or red line tires on it...

Bumpers, tires, hood, wheels, glass, steering column - if all still are half decent - are not cheap to buy separately! Think of it as a parts car - completely disassemble it. Even small parts like the gas filler door, door mirror & handles, light lenses, etc. are not cheap to buy separately either. They'll all add up.

The 416 heads are actually early-mid 80s SBC head, they're pretty good factory heads used in the HO 305. But in the condition they're in, not sure they're worth bothering.

This isn't the worst Corvette. The worst Corvette would be a car that was very poorly taken care of throughout its life until it was destroyed. This car is a scam! They deliberately selected all the unusable parts from several cars and glued everything together in the worst way, just to make a profit.

In a big block ‘69 with air conditioning it is physically impossible to remove the actuator starting with the hood open. The hood must be removed or the actuator can be manipulated down and toward the center of the car after freeing it with the hood closed.

You didn't say what you paid for the car, but it looks really good.. a replacement wiring harness takes care of the wiring issues and the missing small parts easy to replace.. I would definitely put a manual transmission back in...

Regarding the shift knob... do recall what the mfr.ers name is and where it can be sourced? I'd like to change out my shifter knob on my '93 ZF 6-speed for one like this as well. Thanks! That alarm system was very... alarming! What a hack job!
