This was a very touching moment between a father and a daughter. One of my favorite scenes in Television. Cliff was very compassionate about little Rudy’s problem. So touching

I love this episode for two reasons: It shows some good character development of Rudy, along with the episode the infantry has landed, which at this point if the series was NEEDED. Two, is because this episode is relatable, because this is what a lot of preteens/adolescences go through at the stages of evolving. Oh, and Olivia was funny, as usual in this episode, too.

Listen fictitious character Rudy, I didn't worry about other girls having breast. They came in in middle school. They ached a bit coming in, nothing major. Then boom, after college I went from B cup to Biggins. It's not all it's cracked up to be. You can't run the same, you can't lay on your stomach, you can't wear any top you want, they are hot, and much more. However, love who you are and what you have at all times in your life.

It’s like how my oldest son used to tell me when he had questions about girls that he was going to ask his dad. I just nodded my head and said he could call his dad anytime he wants (their father left me and our four kids when my youngest daughter was 10 months old). Their dad at that time was already married to his third wife and my oldest son was just 13 (I was wife #1; the ex is a serial cheater). When my oldest son was 18 and his father was divorcing wife #4, I overheard him telling my youngest son he should ask mom his relationship questions but if he had any questions about how to fly planes (his dad is a commercial pilot) or go broke from multiple divorces, then he should definitely call their dad. Or like when my parents hired a class action personal injury lawyer for an easy minor settlement case when I’ve been a licensed, practicing litigator and judge for over 22 years. Because they claimed they needed a “real lawyer.”🤦🏽♀️ I reminded them I’m not only “real,” and successful at that, but completely free of charge to them. That word-free-always gets their attention. They suddenly recalled being at my law school graduation all those years ago 😆 Kids and parents never see one another the way the rest of the world sees us. Siblings and everyone else, hell yes they do. My sisters are a NP and a MD and the three of us are hit up almost daily for free services by other relatives and friends. But in that dynamic between parents and kids, we will always be defined by that role by the other.

Rudy started her periods later that same series; whereas in fact, a period's not likely to arrive until about 2 years after the breasts begin growing! When I was on holiday at the age of 11, a 12-year-old girl was jealous of me because I had breasts, and she hadn't yet entered puberty. Bless her, there was nothing to be jealous of: crabby old piano-teachers can still scold you as if you're a naughty toddler; and puberty just brought the school-bullies more & more fodder.
