Doctor Doom Fantastic Four announcement! A new report tells us about Doctor Doom in the Fantastic Four MCU reboot film and it leads us to believe that Doctor Doom could actually be good, at least for now. This also means he's coming to the main MCU timeline to interact with the Avengers and the X-Men who will be there as well. Doctor Doom makes his way to the MCU and to Avengers Secret Wars to possibly be a major villain in the Multiverse Saga and beyond! Fantastic Four news.

Look at how Electro recognized the power in the 616 universe. Maybe there is something special about it that all of the other universes lack, but both universes need each other in order to defeat Kang. Doom needs longevity in the MCU and I hope they give him the arc he deserves.

I think it has to do with the Eternals movie. Celestials essentially grow planets, and they are ready to harvest the 616 Earth. This makes me believe the 616 Earth was "ripe" and full of celestial energy.

@@justjoddat Maybe! There hasn’t really been any sort of repercussions from 3 infinity stone snaps on earth in five years, or two in one day. I feel like there should be something that came from that aside from what we saw. I remember people theorizing how that might be what activates the X gene, but we know that Namor has been a mutant for many years, so we’ve already had them on earth 616 the entire time. Ms Marvel too. I wonder if there’s a Logan in a Canadian lab too? I like the notion that certain events happen in every universe, like an inescapable tragedy. Spider-Man losing someone he loves to teach him a lesson, is such a great example.

Dr Doom is such a versatile and unique villain. He's not only extremely intelligent, but he knows his boundaries and when to put his ego to the side when it's absolutely necessary. That dynamic alone warrants him a proper introduction and involvement in the MCU for 10+ years, hopefully developing into the legit next big bad. I hope they do him justice!

I saw a comment about the groundwork laid for Doom in Moon Knight, but maybe that's to hint at what's coming/easter-eggs for when he comes to the 616 timeline. I'm just excited to see what they do to keep Doom as the main big bad. And even what they're going to do with Kang after the whole Major's incident. I've heard that they've recast him, but, regardless, I look forward to whatever they do with it.

1:02 i like this idea to just port the main Fantastic Four characters and villains into the main Earth 616/Earth 199999 timeline. I think they've had a few different attempts that I think varried a little in quality, but i liked the cast of the first two. I've yet to see the Roger Corman version outside some early internet reviews of it. i think it's a great idea to just start them in the middle where they're already established, no need to set them up, they're just doing their thing, and then they just get ported into the regular MCU. Then the timeline reset via the aftermath of Secret Wars where more or less all the characters are back in the MCU, the Fantastic Four will pretty much just have their history woven into the MCU to where they've always been there or something like that.

Victor Von Doom is THE villain of the Marvel Universe. Doom is the contrapositive of Reed Richards. One cannot exist without the other. The kicker is that Doom never can outsmart of outduel Richards. He can, single-handedly and by force of will, defeat The Beyonder, a being whop was a universe and the universe was him. Doom is villain, but not evil. He is a tragic character of Greek proportion ever foiled from saving the trapped spirit of his mother. By far my favorite character.

Dr Doom has an epic origin story - it could make an amazing solo trilogy - one film focusing on his childhood defending his Romani "gypsy" tribe from racial persecution; another film could show his travels in this world and the next, as he becomes Dr Doom; another film could show his triumphant return and conquest of Latveria - also, Latveria could be treated like Wakanda, w its own show - caught between its occult feudal past, its sci fi futuristic development, and its geopolitical intrigue - maybe Doom finds Vibranium there and wants to use it to become the next Napoleon or Genghis Khan - just like the MCU T'Challa evoked African unity and Namor evoked indigenous struggles, Doom could evoke the push for Eurasian integration - as w Namor's kingdom, they could update Cold War Latveria by moving it closer to Central Asia, like one of the post-Soviet republics - "Latveristan" - connecting it this way also to China and the Middle East as well as Russia, to tap into those Eurasian geopolitics - so many world-building possibilities w an iconic figure like Doom - if the MCU focuses on Doom himself and mines his background carefully, instead of just using him as a generic villain

Okay, origin story for The Good Doctor: Raised in Hell's Kitchen, Victor is constantly bullied. A man with a suit of armor tells him he can do better and change the world. Victor, who is an average student in school, miraculously invents his own suit of armor, granting him fantastic strength, force fields, and offensive powers no one has ever seen the likes of before. We find out later in the film that his mom subscribed to Better Homes and Gardens as well as Popular Mechanics. His drive for a better world where no one is bullied is quickly realized as he takes out all of the bullies in Hell's Kitchen. At the very end of the film, he has attracted the attention of The Devil of Hell's Kitchen; Gordon Ramsey. Oh, I almost forgot. The Fantastic Four spends a FANTASTIC FOUR MINUTES of screen time as we watch Victor grow-up. Yeah, that should about do it. Make Mine Marvel!!! You're doing great, but please read a comic book! The fact that the TVA has a retro 60s/futuristic aesthetic means that the FANTASTIC FOUR will be set in a 60s/retro/futuristic timeline. This is the timeline from which Kang “prime” originates … the same one from where the FANTASTIC FOUR originate. Basically, the FANTASTIC FOUR is the ORIGINAL universe. The MCU we’ve been following is an alternate timeline where AVENGERS exist instead of FANTASTIC FOUR.

Doom could hold the power to bring back Thanos for all we know. I'm hyped!!! As long as we stay true to the comics about Dooms origins. His mother being a powerful witch, would be cool to see a connection to Agatha somehow or even Thor's Mother from an ancient past.

Honestly id take a "the world gets destroyed" scenerio and everyone wakes up in a new Earth with no memory and only memory of the new world like in the OA. And then they just start anywhere with a bew story.

Though I have high hopes for MCU doom since they have introduced magic and power suits in the universe already (I feel like the last two dooms were lacking since the writers couldnt bring in those concepts) I was kinda hoping that the villain of the MCU fantastic four would be Mole Man. Since he was their first villain in the comics. Then again, Kang is related to Doom too so....
