She drew the design herself, inspired by images on Instagram, and commissioned it from a seamstress in Canelones, Uruguay, my home country. Isn't it gorgeous? 🤎❄

I am rewatching your wonderful video. I have to rest due to being a little unwell (nothing bad, just irritating) and thought I would watch some Christmas videos. They were all full of NEW things the KZbinr just got or bought, new beautiful clothes, new cute mugs, new lovely Christmas decorations and new this and new that. It made me feel sick. We all know we simply must stop consuming as we do (or those of us with money to spare, many starve in this sad world...) and as I usually do not watch very much here on KZbin as was chocked how many people make videos about getting new stuff...then I remembered you and how every video I ever watched from you always inspire to use what one have, to be creative, to give new life to pre-loved things and clothes, to live plant-based and celebrate a slow, simple, sustainable lifestyle. Christmas is my favorite holiday, but it is also the hardest holiday. I miss dearly my mom and dad both have passed on years ago, but I still miss them like it happened yesterday. The month and weeks before Christmas were full of crafting, baking and candy making. Our kitchen filled with those magical smells and the best part tasting all the treats fresh and warm. And sharing time with the sweetest of moms. The invites to brothers and sister's homes, as I am the youngest of 8. Now all ended when I married, and the parents gone on ahead. It all ended...no more Christmas eve with the family. The love was all for my parents. Gone the days of sharing gifts, sitting with nieces and nephews, playing board games, looking back at other Christmases' together. Oh, the photos, laughter and good talks. Those times all stopped, disappeared like frost under the sun, even the cards, like I no longer was a part of the family. Hurts to know it was all for show, all fake, put on to make mom and dad feel I was excepted and loved. You see because I love dresses and don't follow the fashions. I am an outcast am a bit old fashioned. The family is embarrassed by me and actively tries to change me into who they think is better suited for viewing by the world. Even though I am 67 and adult they were relentless. To have any peace I had to let them all go. So now it is just me and my son as I am a widow. Our Christmases are quiet and simple and peaceful. And I am growing to like it more and more each year, except there is no mom and dad.

Your videos are always a nice escape from the rush of modern life these days. I love how calming and cozy they are and i felt inspired to create a warm and cozy home ever since I started watching your videos. Its a slow progress, but already my home feels better. Thank you for making such wonderful videos and sharing them with us. I also really like the apron. Your mom did a great job at designing it. You are both very talented. So I made an orange October cake, and he came in and decided he wanted pizza, there was a lot of stress and pressure in the kitchen and I didn't feel comfortable there, so I just wasn't there anymore, made a salad and ran to the room, I also don't feel comfortable singing, playing and dancing because he has schizophrenia and he hears voices, Appreciate your lifestyle
