I found your Dubai video earlier today and so enjoyed watching. I have also found your other videos, have subscribed and plan to binge watch them all this weekend! Thanks again for making them. I live in Florida, USA where garment sewing is somewhat rare at this time. Maybe it will become more popular as people watch wonderful, inspiring videos.

Those batting scraps in your delivering are very cool! Pet bed makers might want them.

The apron idea is terrific! You have a lovely space!

I thought you could roll the gray batting to use up its length then cover it with a thinner batting then the cotton for a higher bump.

God you made me laugh cos I’m just like you, I start one thing that leads to another and end up with a million projects on the go! Love the ironing board def going to do that and would like to try and make a pressing “ham”. Very envious of your embroidery machine looks like so much fun. If we don’t come home to London ( live in Australia) I’ll have a look at getting one. Love the video, you have a new subscriber 👍🏻.

Hi 👋 to make a "pressing ham" is quite easy. Just go to your local hardware store and ask for the "sawdust" aka (dust from the saw) it's FREE!! Double your fabric when you make 'em. Mine are fun and functional. ✂️🛢✂️🌷😊

Yes, I've made my own ironing table. My Dad made me 2 storage cubes with shelves and we put a 24 X48 piece of plywood on top. I covered it with 2 layers of wool army blankets and used quilting cotton for the top. If the top gets dirty, I just staple on a new one. You will love your new ironing board. Nicely done.

I made myself a huge tabletop ironing board similar to yours last year and I love it.

I really enjoyed this video. It makes me feel energized to see all the things that you make for your studio including the apron. I love the idea. Gotta have a place for that candle! lol The hump on the small iron didn't seem too pronounced. I would like to see how this is used. I'm sure you have a reason for how you made it.

I can’t wait to make my own mini ironing board. What a great idea. I’m also now designing an apron to wear in my studio. Thanks for the inspiration. I even think I can find some recycled wadding down here in Tasmania as I don’t think I’ve seen that insulating fabric anywhere. So a big thanks😃😃 for sharing.

Hi loved the two projects, I was glad to see you persist to embroider your logo, it looks good. I recently bought an embroidery machine so was pleased to see you produce your logo so quickly, the advantage of a younger brain 😂. Keep sewing just love your work.

Love the apron idea, stuff does go missing, I'd probably lose the apron🤣🤣 I have an extra large ironing board ( it fits a fat quarter flat on it) but it needs a new cover as does my other clothes one. Our sewing space seems to be a never ending evolving project. ❤

Love you apron and ironing boards. I made a sewing apron a few years ago. My inspiration was a carpenter's apron. They use them for all the nails, screws, tape measures etc. Great idea for sewing.

Love your new sewing studio. And envy for the big ironing board. You could also make yourself a Tailors Ham... they are very useful and you can use lots of scraps to make it. A handy thing to have and there are lots of tutorials available to make them.

I love to see how your sewing studio progress over time! It’s of course natural that you change things as you work there and discover what doesn’t work so well. My mind works the same ☺️ I also made an ironing board to put on my cutting table, standing height, but smaller, it was a game changer instead of having to put the usual ironing board up. I keep that one too for when I iron whole fabrics. The apron is perfect! I’m envious of your embroidery machine, but it’s no where near my budget 😅 I do a lot of applique to embellish my things and also HTV (vinyl) but without all the stuff, I use scissors and the iron and it works fine 😊 Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to seeing your next project! ❤️

🤔Have you ever thought of moving the ironing cabinet next to your sewing table. and remove all other stuff from that wall. the hanging pattern papers you can move to under your table where there is an empty wall since you are standing and will not bump them on your knees. As far as I can see the ironing board can fit there without hindering the door's movement. just measure it before you move and see if that makes sense. 🙂 love the apron

great video. I have a table top ironing board I made several years ago. I have it on my sewing table which is standing height. I use it all the time. I did make a cover like a pillow case which I can wash easily. it tends to get dirty when I use iron on fusible.

Omg I also have an apron in the making! Making it from small fabric scraps of different Ankara fabric prints. I would put the broad Malm cabinet + calendar on the spot of the current ironing situation, and put the mirror next to the door. I find it so interesting that you hang your pdf patterns, instead of putting them in binders. :p Is there any particular reason for this?
