Easy Crochet Infant Sunhat | Easy Child Sunhat | Crochet Infant Hat Beginner Friendly

Hey guys! I hope this video finds you well and happy! This Infant Sunhat is super quick and easy to work up! It is made using less than a skein of a #4 medium weight yarn with a 6mm hook! This infant sunhat measures 17" around and is ideal for 3 months - 12 months, depending on the child. This hat is breathable for warm weather and keeps the sun out of the face. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!

Just depends on the weight and hook size ☺️ as long as you make the top circle about to diameter of the head it is for then you should be good ☺️☮️💙🎶

I made my first dress the other day for my new granddaughter the dress is set to be the of size of a one year old I found this hat and thought it was Simply Adorable light and Airy so I've created it and I love it thus far but my question is what are the measurements from top to bottom of the average one-year old do you have any idea what that might be? I want his outfit to be kinda perfect especially since mom wants to do her 1 yr old pictures in it which is a true honor for me because as I said its my first real clothing piece

I love that! And I am not 100% sure on that. I had to measure it on my own child and as I said in the video it may vary child to child. Maybe ask them to measure their child’s head from the very top down to their ear and then you can work it to be that size and start the brim there. That’s what I would do! Hopefully that helps! 😊☮️💙🎶

There is a video for this same hat that is for a 1-3 year old on my channel. I would try making that hat. Start with the top round part and see if it’s wide enough for the top of the head (I think it might be) if not work an extra round around the top, and then work the sides and brim the same way 😊☮️💙🎶 hopefully that makes sense and if you need any more help I’d love to help more!
