Nice work (as always). The thing I like best about your system (even though you like playing with it) is that with it as a model, and ordinary person could build it. Once built, it just runs on and on without any need for adjustment. Also, a person could start with just one inverter and put it on whatever leg of their 240VAC consistently draws the most load . and reduce their power bill significantly. After some saving, they could buy the second inverter and put it on the other leg and save more. After saving some more, they could add batteries. So this brilliant system you designed is scalable as a person has the money to scale it up. Each scale up means more savings in the long run. Outstanding!

Great set up, I have 16kwh batteries using 16 cells of Eve 304ah cells. I made the two batteries of 24volts using 8 cells each. Doing battery myself it becomes very cheap. Instead of Mppt charge controller like yours, I have a hybrid Mppt powmr inverter solar charger that can handle 80ams charging either through solar or through grid. I have roof top solar 4.5kw for exporting electricity, so day time Soyosource stay inactive, I have another 4kw solar array in the backyard to charge this battery, in the evening the signal from the limiter is switched on through a home made relay using wifi switch as you have ac input for your inverters. it can produce 3000 watts ac as off grid, for on grid, I have hooked up 2 Soyosource inverters similar to yours, I have installed everything on a movable too trolly. The idea is to use this system on our camping trips, where I can load the trolly on a trailer to take away power house with me. I take 4 panels 415 watts with me as it provides enough power for our weeks long trip in Australian sunny beaches. I will make a video and post it.

That's awesome man . How much did you invest ? My goal was to get my.moneu back as fast as possible so I made minimum investment , so far my bill got at low as possible about 24 bucks a month ...

Hi, I just buy 16xLFP Cornex 280AH 16x57usd + JKBMS 220$ + own box.. and today I receive SoyoSource GTN-1200WLIM48 who will be tested. Question, Your limiter have set 2 units, from two split phase but you have a one CT clamp who should connect all house lines... one CT is not to small size ? You connect it on a external wall in socket box ? On prev video you say you install in on extrance of house but instruction say... soyo fist and limiter/meter/ct clamp inside home usage after soyo...

Excellent, I've a similar system and hope to break even in about 5 years. At night time, which inverter is providing energy to the house? Nvm, I think I see whats gong on. You don't have solar connected directly to inverter, even thought the inverter is capable of doing so.

After I turn off the main breaker and all 220v breakers I feed the house like with an Widowmaker cord in a 12v inverter that makes the gridntie inverters turn on

SOrry Green horn here. So the solar panels charge the batteries, and the inverters pull form the batteries. they do this at the same time? Charge and discharge simultaneously?

I wonder what is the correct procedure to safely turn off a solar system like your?
@TheCrazyRomanian
@TheCrazyRomanian 4 ай бұрын
You set the charge controller to charge the battery at lower west voltage possible that stops the charging, trip solar fuse , trip battery fuse, set the inverters to provide lowest power possible , trip power to the inverters , trip fuse to inverters ..

@@TheCrazyRomanian can you explain how to do that?
@TheCrazyRomanian
@TheCrazyRomanian 4 ай бұрын
I can't , it involves a Widowmaker or suicide cord . The trolls will come to get me ... Basically you turn off main breaker from the network , all the 220v breakers also and then you plug in the inverter to the same place where the grid tie inverters connect

@@TheCrazyRomanian thanks. Just was concerned if it was actually 3-4 seconds for the logic to activate the limiting threshold. Glad to hear you tested and it’s only in the milliseconds range :)

So those blue inverters are rated at 1000watts but only produce 650watts. So they only do 65% of what they advertised at. Also we still have no idea on the efficiency of the blue inverters...How many watts are the solar panels producing in DC as to how many watts at being put into the system. This video is useless without the information. Because its the difference of paying off a system off in 1 years as opposed to paying it off in 4 years. What IS THE EFFICIENCY!!! You also keep pointing at your MPPT Charger and calling it an inverter...Its not an inverter. Its a solar charger. No mentions of how many watts you have in solar on your roof. No mention of how many watts you produce a week or month on average.
