Hello! I love snow! The world seems to catch its breath and relax as the snow falls!!

I love this project. I’ve hoarded pretty tissue papers in French toile prints etc from Tuesday morning, Homegoods etc when they used to sell for $2.99 for a dozen sheets! Time to use. I also scored some very pretty file folders in ocean theme this week for $1.09 but now I’ll hunt for kraft colored ones 😊. Or I could use my big stash of kraft cardstock to make file folders. I like that you use scissors to make tabs, no special gadget needed. I use existing folder as a template and do the same. Tfs!!!

Love your videos Michelle and your joy of creating (and how you are not too 'precious'). Now tell me where you get those Artex gel pens in Canada?

They were sent to me from the company for a product review. You can purchase them on Amazon 😊

Do you know how many times I’ve ran to my husband and barked this? Yes, barked. He and the kids learned to take off running for the car. OMG-you brought back memories and many hysterical laughing moments as we were more like the 3 Stooges, getting to the car.😂😂😂😂😂

Lovely folders! I have the printed tissue too and it can be glued to fabric for covers and to glass jars for candle lanterns with PVA or decoupage glue. Also, hand sanitiser gel is good for cleaning up inks from stamps (and hands..) - cheap too!

Great tip! Thank you 😊

Cheap rubbing alcohol (hydrogen peroxide) or running hair dryer over the old glue helps to get rid of it easily too 😊

I like the way you roll. I also have a bunch of folders that I need to chop. I recently repurposed a barbie into a witch. Sewing was required. So challenged I was. lol Liked the painting of her face best.

Love your videos Michelle. You are so lucky to have the seasons.🍂🍁🍂🍁 I love fall and miss it terribly, from my childhood days😢 I have lived in the tropics now for almost 50 years. Yes, it's beautiful, but the endless days of summer year round are most unbearable!🥵 thanks for keeping me company this morning while I work on my journals.🌺🙋♀️ Your little folders are beautiful!!👏👏And, NO....there is no such thing as TOO much grunge!!😂😂 Oh...I've been using Scorched Timber shade of Distress Ink/Oxide when I want a black or very dark edge. I'm hooked on the color. It looks like the paper has been scorched around the edges!😂
@thecreativecove6898Ай бұрын
lol I agree. Thank you. I really like the messy dark colours. Not sure I could handle the heat all year round I do love the seasons 😊

I love this idea. I am curious, one lady said in the comments “there’s no such things in Germany”. What things? Tissue paper? File folders? I guess we take for granted, the “things” that are available to us. I really would like to know.

Great way to make those little folders. Never thought to cover them with tissue paper. I used to live in western New York and now live in Virginia...I can’t say I miss those winters with several feet of snow. We hardly ever get over a few inches here if any...yay. Being older it is hard to deal with deep snow.😁😍
@thecreativecove6898Ай бұрын
I hear ya. I love the snow but I sure need the exercise shovelling 😊
@rkug77728 күн бұрын
Haha I lived in Canada and then MI for a long time. Moved south 4 yrs ago and love the “winters” with no snow (or an inch for an hour and melt”) once in a few yrs. Keeps me more active in winter as I can walk or be outside more. We still have 4 seasons but much shorter winters with no snow.

Whenever I see a crafter with long white sleeves, I admire your courage!! 😮 any white clothes, or clothes with white on them (that isn't gesso, pethair and paint) will never stay white. I just look at my craftroom, and I'm a mess.

The print on your tissue paper is called Toile in it originated in the mid-18th century in Ireland and later picked up by the French.

What was the description of the fabric and bubble wrap? That’s a marvelous texture! it sounded like you applied the glue to bubble wrap, then fabric then, did you peel the bubble wrap off?
@thecreativecove6898Ай бұрын
I saturated the fabric in glue and played it on bubble wrap so I could let it dry and peel it off. 😊

Dir stimme ich zu. Es ist wirklich schwer und auch teilweise teuer an gute Dinge zu kommen. Hat man von irgendwas mal was bekommen, sieht man das nächste und muss wieder hinterher jagen.
