Natasa, I've been making junk journals for over eight years and I give them all away at Little Free Libraries and the Senior Center, sometimes outside regular libraries. I've heard of other makers giving their handmade journals to cancer centers, children's wards at hospitals, etc. While I realize that many people need to sell their journals or even take consignments, making journals is for me to enjoy and I really don't care if a certain person will like my work or leave it for the next person. In fact, I include a little note that starts out, "It Found You So It's Yours," which lets the finder know what a junk journal is and if they want to take it or leave it. I firmly believe the journal will find its way to someone who needs it right then - and for FREE! It might be an idea you want to do with some of your journals because, believe it or not, giving away things you love is so fulfilling. I love your work and I would be over the moon if one of your journals found its way into my hands.

Thank you so much for posting this! There are several little free libraries near me I'm embarrassed that I didn't think of this. I love making journals but I don't journal much myself and have a bunch of smaller journals that I've made collecting dust up in my craft room. I don't want to force them on friends and family as unsolicited gifts but also don't feel comfortable selling them for some reason. I love the idea of then Finding their way to someone that needs them ❤

Oh girl, soul mate from another country. My shelves are also full. Many journals have not even been utilized by me, but I don't want to part with them YET. When I've made embellishments over the years, I always have an extra to put in a box so I can go back and see the different treasures I've made over the years. It still brings me joy. I recently decided to pack up a chest of drawers I used for jewelry making supplies. And went to the thrift store and bought another tall shelf to put in its place. Lol. JJ is my passion now. I agree that collecting is also a joyous hobby. My house is generally nice and neat EXCEPT my craft room is very packed full including all the walls. I love it! But, I'm gonna follow your advice and start making more. I also move from project to project. I think I need to revisit your book, so thanks for that reminder. I'm ALWAYS inspired by you. ❤ TY

And then I would take some folder slip sheets and I would place them into the snap rings . And I would storage my stencils in it . I have large A4 stencils that I use very often and I always need it to keep them tidy and I one place . I have now 4 stencils holding books . The number of pages/slip sheets can be put in depends on the size of the snap ring . And now to sit back and relax ,enjoying another session of Marvels from paper by Natasa 🤩 Thank you 💐 PS .Just heard you saying you are feeling not very well 🤒 Speedy recovery 🙏

You are truly a gift. When you showed your own childhood stamp collection I was flooded with sweet memories (and tears) of my wonderful brother and his coin collection. What a tender gift you gave me! Humble suggestion: consider making color copies of your cherished stamps so you preserve the originals but have fun of incorporating them into your incredible works of art. My thanks you are truly unlimited, rivaled only by your talent, inspiration and creativity. And hilarity! Warmest regards.

I am amazed when I see people who have a collection of journals/art books/altered books and such they have made. The things I have made, (mostly altered books or junk art journal types), are done for certain people. It is very hard to let go of the creations. They are one of a kind and I think of them as prayer books (like the prayer shawls knitted for a special person and as you knit, you are sending good wishes and prayers). I so love your beautiful work. It is inspiring. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and creative ideas.

19:36 Just watched your marvellous video, which inspired me a lot like your videos always do. Your creativity knows no limit. But as to the ways of covering your book covers , I've often done this: Take a book cover, where the inside is also decorated or has beautiful graphics. Switch the front and the back, and use the cover "inside out". I have done a lot of journals like that.
