These guys are installing sound foam to more efficiently play video games, and that's their job, which they receive a pretty decently size paycheck for. Meanwhile, I move big ass boxes through a Sears warehouse and help people put fridges and whatnot in their car so that I can just barely avoid starvation. Fml. PS: I don't fault the creatures for this nor do I find anything wrong with this being their job, I'm just annoyed at life.

You don't seem to grasp the concept of being a youtuber/twitch streamer, their jobs are EXTREMELY hard, they have to do videos for their own channel, edit, render and upload those while at the same time pulling their weight for the hub whilst also remembering to stream when they need to and making sure the streaming equipment is set up properly so they can be on time. All within the span of one week or less, and it's like that week after week with no breaks. So I wouldn't be surprised if what they do requires more work than what you do.

You really think recording yourself playing video games, screwing around in skits, and going to the movies for hours on end, and then occupying yourself for a few hours while your videos render and upload themselves is hard? The only part of that process that isn't equivalent to what teenagers do in their free time is the editing process, which can't possibly take more than an hour or two out of their day. If their efficient at all, they probably do that while things are rendering and uploading anyway. Do you really think taking ten minutes to set up for a stream is any kind of physical labor, or that they even need breaks when all they're doing is playing video games? Last time I checked, that's what people do at home when they're relaxing, in which case they might as well be on break all the time. And forget that "week after week" crap. I work day after day with barely any days off. Have any one of the creatures work a 4 hour shift at my job while I sit in their office and stream Dark Souls 2 for the same length of time. Guarantee any of them will agree a manual labor job is infinitely more difficult.

Kootra actually did an alright job. I did a course in music technology and i learnt all about acoustics and all about acoustic treatment. The point of it is to reduce the amount of reverb or "echo" as much as possible and to do this you need to place the most amount of foam where you sound will be hitting the source, so behind the tv is probably perfect for the voices of the creatures but you'd also want some on the wall in front of the TV to to stop any sound which is then bounced back onto said wall and also to stop any loud sound coming from the TV it's self (if they're using headphones it shouldn't matter too much though). Other than that, good job! :D

I think the foam absorbs some of the sound waves so they don't bounce off the wall and create an echo. That's why when they talked before it was in there it had more of an echo and sounded more boomy.

Stewie Griffin This is a mostly uneducated guess, but i think the soft porous quality of the foam slows the sound wave down and dissipates it throughout the pores as it hits it, as apposed to a hard surface where it will bounce off. Think of it like throwing an egg at a pillow vs throwing it at a wall. When you throw it at the pillow, it slows down and doesn't break. There's a smoother transfer of energy. When you throw it at a wall, it breaks and splatters, because the transfer of energy was too sudden/abrupt
