That's awesome, getting it surveyed is usually a huge expense. We wanted to expand our current property but the cost to survey and fence off a piece out of the 120 acres of family land behind us is not in our budget.
@bellepfeiffer3630
@bellepfeiffer3630 8 ай бұрын
After the time crunch is over, you might want to go drive some rebar or put some concrete markers where those wood posts are for future reference. And paint them some bright color because once stuff grows around them, they will be hard to find. I'm guessing your fence will be on most of the line, but still good to have other permanent markers. May the weather be with you for the next couple weeks!

Always spend the extra $$$ and have it surveyed Professionally! Trust me, the last thing you want to do is put in a permanent structure then have to tear it down. We bought our first house 45 years ago (in town)😊. We had lived there for about 6 months. Got along great with the neighbors. We decided to put in a 3 ft fence between the front of our yards. The neighbors never said a word, until we dug holes for fence post and ran the string line 🤷🏻‍♀️. Neighbor (lady) came out and said “you know the property does not line up with the driveway. She said the property stake was ACTUALLY 2-3 ft over on our side. We stopped instantly and called the contractor who built the house to come out and let us know where it was. Come to find out when they poured the drive way, they poured the bottom edge about 5 INCHES over the stake. They cut the edge off and we finished our build. The neighbor was so upset that she was wrong. I just think she wanted us to leave it open between yards!
