M.J.MommyOnTheGo p Unit 3 - Training and Development Introduction to Unit An effective supervisor must be a polished trainer. It is part of the supervisor's responsibility to demonstrate to workers exactly how certain procedures are performed. Supervisors must also be excellent learners. Workers expect their supervisors to be doers as well as teachers. Therefore, supervisors must be able to master the tasks that workers are assigned to perform. This ability is much more critical for first line supervisors than those in middle and senior management, especially in industries using production processes. A thorough understanding of all jobs involved in a given production process is essential to effective supervision, as supervisors are ultimately responsible for deploying their workforce in the most productive and efficient manner possible.

I got my mom a test last year and it said she had 25% European dna (equivalent to a grandparent), we were shocked. We have no immediate white family members in our family. I guess things like this show us sometimes we physically can't tell what ethnicity someone is just by how they "look".

The African race is suppose to be closer to the Caucasian race, then the Asian in terms of separation of years , depending I guess, from what country in Africa , the Afr/Euro blend, may not be as obvious as the Asian/Euro blend, if the white ancestry is the majority. I guessed him to be between 60-70 Euro and 30-35 African, just because of his curlier hair, But I know what you mean, he could very easily pass as 100 % Caucasian , as in Pakinstani/North African, mixed with North Euro. West Asians, Central Asians, Indian, Turkish,especially North Africans, often look like him. If you look at the Kardashian boy ,Rob Kardashian, who's 100 % Caucasian or white (with a Euro/ Armenian combo), this Louisianian, could easily be his slightly tanner, curlier headed brother.

ingrid fanfairreid - Not exactly true, a White person having one Native ancestor 6 generations back through rape doesn't mean their ancestry began as Native because their results show 3% Native and vice versa. Fun fact - The British Royal Family are Germans. The name "Windsor" was adopted from a British Castle during the world wars to distance themselves from the Nazis. Their original name was Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. When the Queen married Prince Phillip he was upset about having to take her last name since he was the man. They reached an agreement to hyphenate the names and their non-royal heirs use Mountbatten-Windsor.

@pleyenterprise7 жыл бұрын
The science estimates we were coming from Africa many centuries ago, originating from a group of 1000 people after a major catastrophy reducing human population from a million to a thousand. Africa was a fertile land until it was not, some of our ancestors decided to leave and wandering out of Africa seeking a better life. After arriving central Asia, one group went to Europe and another group went to Asia. There were people stay along the way. Many travelers died on the way and many didn't make it. Those survived eventually spread the globe. The people left Africa going thru DNA changes to adapt the new environment. Mostly colder with less sun in the northern part of the globe. Neanderthal was in Europe before human arrived and modern human eventually replaces them with some of their DNA. In Asia-China, the same human from Africa encounter another advance primate and evolve to what Asian looks today. This part of evolution still mostly in mystery but fasinating.
@svsvs39067 жыл бұрын
pleyenterprise actually oldest human mutations are found in south africa after the west africans replaced older populations in south eats africa from east africa the first populations went to europe/asia and became denisovans and neanderthals separated around 180 000 years second migration went to central africa (ancestors of pygmies) and from there to west africa pygmies mixed to some point with older groups that separated around 700 000 years ago and the third migration was from east africa to asia and later europe ,basically modern eurasians and again later there have been back to africa migrations populations like nama are the closest what comes to the first human groups but they are today heavily mixed with west africans

I'm pale myself, but I have my dad's (black parents) features. I don't know what race I look, but one person told me they thought I was just black. I've even gotten Asian before. I did a DNA test. Waiting for the results to come in. My dad isn't very dark, but his dad is. I think he came out paler than both his mom and dad which is so weird. 'Britney Dearest Family Vlogs Most likely because of slavery rape too and not 'color variation'. We can be honest about it. If a black person has a significant amount of white dna your kids might even look white or just ambiguous
@Littlething417 жыл бұрын
As Black Americans or Americans in general we are all mixed anyway. My mom's Grandmother migrated from Jamaica but my mom is very fair-skinned but her sister is dark. My paternal Grandfather's heritage goes back to American slavery while my paternal Grandmother looks white but says they're black. Both my parents are fair with one dark Grandfather. I'm brown with yellow undertones while my sister is dark. She married a white guy and they have one mexican looking child, one blonde, while the others look Italian haha. So as Black Americans unless you have 2 African parents with a passport from an African country, we and our kids will look like whatever haha

Slavery was prominent in Jamaica as well so the same applies.

I would say Curtis' numbers sound right. You get 50% random DNA from both parents. He wouldn't necessarily be 50% sub saharan African because his Dad is probably not 100% African and perhaps 10-20% European. So he gets 50% from Mom and 8% from Dad European. I'm heavy into this as I've tested myself, Mom, sis, Aunt, and 3 1st cousins. My Mom is 40% European and 58% subsaharan African, 1% Asia, 1% NA. Through genetic genealogy I have found a slaveowner/father for my Mom's father's grandmother. I also found my Mom is related to a match who is white, living in the same county where my Mom's grandfather was born (she's 2nd cousin to the match). We think his father could be the match's great Uncle. We found our MRCA (most recent common ancestor) is likely his 2nd great grandmother. We didn't know this match and we didn't know my Papa's father on the ancestry tree wasn't his father, but the DNA says differently. I'm retired and fascinated with this stuff!

documented 1/2 Cherk European. Everyone in my birth family shared common features except ME. with medium dark skin, brown eyes and hair. I have blue eyes/blonde hair like my uncles...look like them!!!! They are blonde and blue eyed like my mother. She had opposite hair and eyes as birth family. From what I understand I share 1/2 of my genes with my uncle as I do my mom. Like me, I look opposite of the family I was born into. Everyone thought I was adopted by Native Americans.

Although I'm sure that the wife's results are referencing Natives from North America, it could still include Native blood from anywhere in the Americas. So, she could still have some Hispanic in her, lol. Also, Hispanics are generally a mix between African, European and Native; so in and of itself, being Hispanic does not indicate a race. In terms of the husband's results, Germany is socio-geographically a part of Western Europe, so like he said, he could still be German somehow.

Great video and Beautiful family. :-) Curtis it is clear that your dad Y-DNA Haplogroup is European. He may be R1b1a .. this is a Western European DNA Haplogroup/type. (Y-DNA is passed down from father to son) One of your Dad's Great Great Grand Dad was European..British. Your Mom being of European Descent added the extra percentage giving you a Higher than 50 European%. If you want to know more regarding Haplogroup test with 23andme. Thank you both for sharing! :-)

Cassandra Sellers, M.A. How'd you know his haplo group though? I missed him mentioning it? Y-chromosome has really almost no DNA compared to the X-chromosome from mom. That's why he has more European than African.

After doing my father’s I did mine and I was 42% African, 38% Native American (Cherokee Nation), Melanesia 2%, Iberian Peninsula 3%, 12% Germany. My parents have very similar ancestry. We knew that we were African and Native American but didn’t know anything else. We never talked about that on the reservation. I was just curious.
