happy annversy we now are in our 4yr of knowing each other and one month exactly to your birthday . I'll be near your apt on Halloween Im making a costume . I'm going dancing I want to trick or treat your door I hope I get a treat before you tell me to stop forever . I cannot but will respectfully do so silently in the distance drowning in my tears forever alone

I swear my face lit up upon hearing the opening chords to Cath. Honestly one of my favorite songs of all time.

I love these guys. Ben is filtering those emotions like a master. Analyzing every joint, every little nuance, he's self-conscious, yet truthfully humane. One of my favourites, top notch lyricist and person. You can feel the struggle and the growth are real, intimate and honest.

Title and registration... This song means so much to me in so many different ways. It allows me, if only for a moment, to go back in time to a period that I miss so dearly...

@@ivanmorechairs6002 thanks friend...was it that obvious this comment is about love? ha...what can I say....time doesn't make things easier. its always about what was, and what could have been for me. and that way of thought leads to nothing but mental torture and a deep sadness. thank you for the comment, it's nice to see that someone who has no idea who you are can take just a moment to leave a kind comment. thanks again and best wishes to you always!

@@superkool7 Same for me friend. Title & Registration and Transatlanticism hold such sad and beautiful memories from a love recently lost. Still going through my own mental torture and deep sadness but it's slowly getting better. Keep strong!

bigb333 well I hope you find peace my friend...it's been almost 15 years and to me it's like yesterday... But thats a long time to feel the same way, especially when it's painful. Sometimes I think there's something wrong with me. I want to live forward but I'm eternally stuck. I can't let it go, though I try so hard. God knows I try. I hope you can friend. Truly i do.

people tend to focus on Cath during their live shows, but honestly nearly all of Death Cab's music is pure gold. this rendition of Your Hurricane was incredible

This performance is the first time their new acoustic setup truly clicks for me. Agreed, T&R sounds fresh again, hitting a new emotional depth.

If you haven't already, you should also check out the version of Title and Registration on their album of Transatlanticism demos. It's really nice!

I didn't love the drum machine. It makes sense, but I feel was too prominent in the recording. It overshadowed the guitar and piano which I suspect was not intended

These guys are still killing it. I never thought a band would usurp blink 182 to me and they did. I know the bands are worlds apart but still.

danmit I miss you so badly I can't stand it any more please do something we went to Andromeda you went into the other part of the ship and made a deal to change things si we didn't need to go all the way and get that brain surgery they had planned . I made a deal too then when you came back in and I went to the bathroom and did onevti spare you to I think it to be wise to compair deals we made that day and how we can use this to benefit this problem we are in now we could e douped not in true contracts some situations we think we are stuck . this is u and me against the dark one not you and me against each other ibeieve it's all a winwunforvthe three of us as I recall the flash of what's to come in context before we landed back in Ballard from Andromeda . we need to have a conversation regardless this ends or not. but talking will keep it peaceful and not further regrettable and if there ever was it is still love for each other we owe a conversation where ever that leads us by the end of the conversation .

Great band, great songs, my only issue and I know I'm not alone, is Ben's hair style. Call me superficial, but it's distracting. Is he hiding male pattern balding or just trying to stay youthful!? My best advice to Ben is the hair is distracting from you greatness, if its balding you are trying to conceal, simply wear some cool hats when you're on stage or consider implants. If it's an age thing, it doesn't work, for a young Bieber but you're not Benber!

Wes Thomas Just shut your eyes? His hairstyle has no impact on his music, or his abilities as both a songwriter and a guitarist.

Funny; I was going to comment that I'm going to ask my hairstylist to cut me up like Ben in this video. I wasn't going to say that I'm trying to mask male pattern baldness and that I'm roughly a decade younger than him. I feel better now, though. Thanks for your accidentally constructive criticism, random agitated KZbin commenter man.

It seems that many people return to what they were when they were learning the most. Of course, we can not relive the past, but a Roxy Music-type remake/remodel requires learning a new "look" and "attitude".
@mapatterson224 жыл бұрын
Wes what the hell does it matter what his hair is like? Are you interested in the music or not? I am regardless!
