Building an HF Vertical 1/4 Wavelength Monopole

Today I'm building an HF monopole for 20 meters. I go through a basic formula, for fun we model the antenna in MMANA-GAL, then I show you how I put it together and tune the elements. Stick around until the fireside chat at the end, and I talk a little bit about ground-mounted vs. above-ground monopoles.. and proximity to trees.
