This is why we have Manners. This could have gone South real quick. You guys showed her respect and she gave you a Tour. My hat is off to all involved.

What a beautiful house. Good to know it was renovated. At least you were able to do a quick walkthrough. She was quite knowledgeable about the place. Not sure what her relationship with the place was.

I'm glad the lady let you boys go ahead with the video. She seemed nice. I hate it when kids vandalized places. It is still a beautiful mansion. I can't believe that she says that it isn't still beautiful. Great video and you boys stay safe. I love you all.

She seemed fed-up with the vandals with it all, defeated, so over it. Hear the nice things that where smashed senselessly without a care or thought, just because they not allowed to do it in a normal atmosphere or at home take someone else's presumedly abandoned and destroy not ok little twats or there! Youth of today(sorry to say)

I know this house. I tracked it's location down years ago, and it's sometimes erroneously called the Miles of Memories House. The current Google Maps images imply its been restored and someone now seems to be living there.

Carlo when you are stopped like this when they ask what you are taking pictures of just tell them you are remodeling your house and taking pictures gives you ideas. don’t EVER tell them why you are really there.

First, you guys handled the situation beautifully! I think being honest about why you are there should make a person proud of the history and see the innocence in the reason behind your visit: to document and photograph, take nothing, despise vandalism and leave nothing but footprints behind. It incredible and a massive property. I would have loved to have seen the entire home in detail but I understand her position. She actually gave you a lot of information to go with the details of the property. I'm glad you all explained the reason, the architecture, how beautiful it really is. Today's mansions don't measure up to those homes. It's like going to England in a 1000 year old building or Cathedral, the history there is not comparable to anything in the US because we were not established then. Maybe there isn't a connection personally but it's still fascinating - all the history, architecture and work that went into it. Even the people who lived during that time period are mysterious and fascinating and their lifestyles, scandals, and families. Sometimes I wonder if I (being a wanna be author) only thinks this way? I find all cultures enthralling from the way they live today to the way they lived hundreds of years ago. I encourage everyone to show the respect that was shown by Carlos and his crew and this lady to everyone you know. I was so happy to read it was not demolished but renovated and lived it. I hope there are some wonderful memories being made 😊 Great video. Take care, stay safe and God bless 💕 Kat

It seems to amazes me that the woman was working for the old owners and new ones even if they couldn't go on to what they wanted to do with the place there I'm having a hard time believing her but who really knows the stone work on that place was nice even the walk way down to the lake was very nice 👌 👍........... .....

That place would be beautiful to be restored. Put new septic and a new well. New roof and windows and clean up the outside. It would absolutely be beautiful

It is sad that you guys weren't really able to fully explorer the home. I think the reason why you guys got permission is because the lady saw that you guys weren't damaging the property and you guys were respectful. What I found odd and correct me if I am wrong, originally the lady said that she worked for the previous owners and than she said she worked for the bank. Glad that the home was renovated and not demolished.

Yeah that does sound odd for her to be saying that I mean it's not her house and land just odd of her to pop up like that 🤔........................

I bet that place can be fixed and opened up as a bed and breakfast.👍 The roof can be repaired it would just take time.👍

That was a very nice lady. And I am feeling really sorry for her. All the disrespect people have shown to this beautiful house, by just destroying things, is hurting her. She is really defending this beautiful place. By just showing her the respect she deserves, she let you take pictures. That proves respect takes you a long way.
