So, on Bowmaster, the arrow blaster has a 5 second cooldown for "installing" it, or getting it to act as a turret. That's why it feels clunky.

I settled with marksman just because of the taunt dummy, I just find it so damn useful as someone solo progressing through the game. And the burst just feels really strong even at minimal funding.

@@alast3511 honestly, I main wind archer and I just use my tornado’s, vortex and song of heaven to farm. Super lazy farming and I rarely if ever use fairy spiral

On bowmaster, the deployment of arrowblaster tends to be smoother when switching the skill to activate through the attack key :)

I just wanna say, I'm a seasonal player who never made it past Destiny but have always been a daboki watcher. So seeing you come back for destiny/ignition and being able to level alongside you really helped push me past 250 and am happy to say am currently 271 and happily enjoying being a regular reboot player.

Always been a fan of Archers in any game, Skyrim, Dragons Dogma etc. The feel of just using a bow for a ranged snipe feels really good. Bowmaster always hooked me in, it just looks so pretty. The blue abilities are also a bias win :3 Thanks for the video Daboki, always a pleasure to watch while cleaning or eating dinner 💙

Aw I'm glad you were able to learn some things! That is the Note system. You can set it up in your skill menu, should be on the bottom some where when you open up your skills

There are many types of fatals, and the mirages work as damage reductions that can effect % damage which most damage reduction doesn’t work against. For instance Zak hand is a 100% hit, safe, will p1 failed test is a 100% screen crack, safe, ark screen crack is a 999999 damage hit, dead, cpap clock is a multi hit 999999 hit, very dead. There are instances when mirage will be useless and you need an I frame, examples are vhilla and black mage mechanics.

Hey David, this was very entertaining to watch! Interesting to see how people come to choose their mains. I've always been a fan of MM and archers in general since day 1, but their modern playstyle doesnt fit me. Somehow I'm a BW main now, and I am very happy slinging fireballs everywhere. It's important to consider how the class feels, and then the class aesthetic will grow on you over time; damage can't be everything when every class can do all the content in this game. I hope my friend can understand this and DECIDE ON A MAIN. Anyways, I hope BM will satisfy your class aesthetic and gameplay for 250+!

Thanks Parctikl! I think what is special is finding a character you can settle on and I think that's really awesome you felt that in BW. Lol I agree with you, the damage and "meta" isn't always the best for everyone, you need to feel at it a personal level. Good luck to your friend on the finding the main journey haha

Marksman seems to better due to having higher damage and more control over your attacks in general. Bowmaster is basically just a spamfest with a bit lower damage.

im not sure if its the same for gms, but in maplesea, most of us install arrow blaster by pressing arrow blaster + jump key, its easier i feel 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

I love archers too, i play them in every game no matter how low tier they are but I don't like MM. Sometimes it feels okay, sometimes it just doesn't because it feels clunky with snipe

I've been a bowmaster since Big Bang patch until now. I have failed, I didn't know could use covering fire as a 2nd jump ("Double jump") Also I didn't know that you could right click your 1st job flash jump skill so that u don't have to double tap to jump anymore.

I think in the survivability part, Bowmaster takes the win IMO. Because of having a strong lifesteal and can take 2 fatal hits (passively too), while Marksman has almost non-existent lifesteal and can take only 1 fatal hit with an active i-frame skill.

Marksman got a puppet which is huge against many bosses, even works in black mage to a point. It better aggros enemies from afar than even the Wind Archer dummy. Both are limited in s but bowmaster has no true . The part that hurts BM is that endgame is has bad synergy with oz rings and burst is not front loaded, generally Marksman will feel better in party play. Also for grandis mobbing, marksman is superior imo
