Just as a reference: In Germany with a population of 83 million, in 2022 10 people were shot by the police. That would translate to around 40 people for the US population - instead there were close to 1200 people shot to death - thirty times more per capita. Reasons: a generally more violent culture in the US, too many and too dangerous weapons (there are no AR15 in private hand in Germany), and a police force which is dramatically undertrained. A Germon police officer needs to go through 30 months of training, before he can hit the street. In the US is is not standardized, but often only 24 weeks. Additional factors are the strong tendency within police departments to cover up any crimes of police officers and the abuse of qualified immunity. All this is known for a long time, but there is no real will to change.

It certainly feels and looks like a contest to me, just like Jeopardy which lost many long time fans. I used to watch it and I miss Alex Trebek . It would have been nice it they had allowed Laura Coates, the person Alex had wanted to replace him, be in that shows competition. But Michael Richards wanted the host job and likely didn't want a bright young woman of color to compete against. I use this as an example so that the Daily Show powers that be realize that they could lose their audience that Trevor, Jordan, Dulce, Roy, Desi, & Ronny and all the staff brought to the show. It may take a long time to rebuild that loyal viewership. Thank goodness the correspondence have stayed on as they have been the absolute best part of the shows, actually saving the show for a few of these guests hosts. I have heard they have several other guest hosts in the lineup for sometime. Please don't let this go on all season. We miss you Trevor❤

Grub hub refunded cause the kid is underage. My son did something similar & when the bill came at $800 & when we told them they sold it to a minor, they negotiated it down to much lower amount. I probably could have told them 100% refund but at the time I just wanted it fixed. Lessons learned😅😢
