ToneyCrimson A lot of times when someone goes to the United States to be a public figure or entertainer, they will start speaking like they have always been America. I think no one hires them if they don't change their voice, so it's really cool Trevor still has an accent.

Not In My World,Chris V🚫DO NOT CELEBRATE PAGAN HOLIDAYS CAUSE PAGANS ARE THE REASON FOR THE SEASON FOR THEY ALL HAVE A DARK MEANING(BIRTHDAYS,VALENTINE'S DAY,PRESIDENTS' DAY,ST PATRICK'S DAY,EASTER DAY,MOTHER'S DAY,FATHER'S DAY,HALLOWEEN,BLACK FRIDAY,THANKSGIVING DAY,CHRISTMAS,NEW YEARS DAY)🚫 📖“Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.”📖(PROVERBS 17:13) 🚫DO NOT CELEBRATE THE DAY OF YOUR BIRTH🚫 📖A good name is better than precious ointment; and the day of death than the day of one's birth. It is better to go to the house of mourning, than to go to the house of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay it to his heart. Sorrow is better than laughter: for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth. It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools. For as the crackling of thorns under a pot, so is the laughter of the fool: this also is vanity. Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart.📖(ECCLESIASTES 7:1-7) ✊😎WELL SHALUM PEACE OUT 1 LUV FROM EL PATRON SAINT RICARDO💪😇 💙REVELATION 14:12💙

It's so sad though to see Mandela's achievements get wiped away by incompetent leaders in South Africa. There's no more talk of rapprochement and reconciliation, but revenge and suppression. The constitution has just been amended to allow for the confiscation of white-owned land. To quote the ANC minister for rural affairs: "The ANC unequivocally supports the principle of land expropriation without compensation." And parliamentarians are openly proclaiming that "the time for reconciliation is over". Mandela must be turning in his grave...

Nelson Mandela was the best human there can be, this is what everyone should aim for to be like him! I love this quote from him the most: “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite.”

I grew up listening to her stories about Nelson Mandela and now he is my biggest role model. When he was released from prison my mother cried and told me that she never thought she'd see that day. Always forgive and never let the world harden your kindness, for violence and revenge are only ever temporary solutions ♡

K'Nai Massini What you need to do is to continue to meditate on Mandela's lessons. He spent DECADES in a hopeless fight against one of the world's most repressive governments, and he did it because of his belief in the goodness of the human spirit, and his belief that righteousness wins in the end. Because of people like him, the world is a much better place now than it has ever been in human history. Slavery is gone. Smallpox is gone. The global rate of extreme poverty is at an all-time low. The world IS getting better, and it is getting better because of people like Mandela, but also people like us. If he could put up with 27 years in jail, I think we can put up with 2-4 years of idiocracy. 8 might be stretch, though.

When you see CNN videos with thousands of downvotes and start looking at the comments, it's obvious the votes come from bots, but for a video like this.... I can't help but wonder who those 32 downvotes are, and my tendency is to focus on that -- but then I think about Mandela's wise words (and, more importantly, actions)... and I remind myself how it's so much more powerful to focus on the good. As Reverend Barber says: Forward Together.

I'm doing a university project on the life of Nelson Mandela when I stumbled upon this video. I just wanted to add that the ANC only turned violent after the Sharpville events where the police of the time interrupted a peaceful march that was mostly children. They interrupted it by shooting at unarmed civilians, many were injured and two were killed.
