People talk about the kind and welcoming local people but your kindness and respect toward people of another culture and economic background is awesome to see! 🖤 Many Americans don’t take this approach. It’s heartening to see. Loving international! Great work 👍🤜

Adam I am glad you went to Belize like you wanted. Like I guy above said there Americans that are rude but you showed respect to them. I have been on 2 Caribbean Cruises and would not walk around like you have. I have seen things on my trip to the islands that I question how safe the Carribean is. I have been 6 times to Europw with my cousin. I have walked the streets at 9pm snd feel safer there.

I spent a week in Beliz, and spent a few day in Saint Ignacia. Stray dogs is a common problem in Central America and on the islands. I worked in PR for 3 years and there were tons of packs of dogs. They just keep breeding. They are so thin. None were ever aggressive but they are everywhere. Seen it on other islands and Guatemala It has been fun revisiting my trip through your eyes

This vlog series is bringing back so many memories. I travelled here as a 15 year old in an expedition group, spent 3.5 weeks in the rain forest which is about two hours journey from the maya temples. Then travelled back towards Belize city and on to Caye Caulker and San Pedro for a week. I visited San Ignacio a couple weeks into our trip and everything you're showing is how I remember it 20 years ago! I keep watching and hoping by some stroke of luck you visit the research station Las Cuevas which is a mile from where we camped. Have the best time Adam, looking forward to seeing the rest of your adventures.

At first I thought you were going to say that you had a very stressful last few hours because several of the iguanas had attacked you and then tried to eat you but the guide came to your rescue. haha Thankfully, the footage was saved. I never trusted eating meatlt when we traveled to Montego Bay Jamaica 35 years ago. All the cows we saw were tied up to peoples porches and the few stray Dogs we saw were always running through town. Fast! So we only ate Chinese rice and vegetables for five days. Just incase.

How a culture lived and made such pyramids with just their hands and no modern equipment. Not only that but the iguanas were everywhere and perched about the pyramids like they were watching over it. So cool. Anyway thank you for sharing your experiences with us.

# Not sure if it's true to Belize but in many S. American countries pet dogs are allowed to roam out & about during the day. They learn to navigate traffic and other challenges but have also developed an exceptional in built compass. They form their own dog communities meeting up each day and then spend their days exploring the familiar streets. Later in the evening they go home to their owner as a regular domestic doggie. Strange to us but perfectly normal in some places As I said not sure if this is regular in Belize but it could explain a large percentage of the dogs roaming about. Great blogging as always. ❤ Thank you Adam 🙏
