Kinda rough being an Orioles fan these days. I lived in Columbia, MD from '70 - '75 when I was a kid, during the Earl Weaver era. I remember watching Jim Palmer, Brooks Robinson, and Frank Robinson play at the old Memorial Stadium. I'm a lifelong Dodgers fan, but did enjoy watching those Orioles teams.

Mike Zunino played for my Mariners for a long time. He was a good guy. He would normally sign for the kids. My wife had a crush on him. There is SO much extra netting in most stadiums now, and it really takes me out of the game and makes me sad sometimes. It’s probably because everyone is so distracted now, people looking at their phones making easy targets for injury , etc, Part of the excitement of a live game is having a chance at a live ball smoked right at you. If you’re directly behind home plate, yes of course it’s needed, but they’ve gone overboard and it hurts the game experience IMO

You should see the PNC Park in Pittsburgh, PA. The BEST park ever, has a lovely view of downtown Pittsburgh in the outfield while watching the game. Also nearby a roller coaster park, Kennywood Park and nearby water park, Sandcastle, nice but nothing to compare to Florida waterparks. Hey, Mr. Adam...did you happen to catch the game between Duke and Carolina? This is old news now, but if I really cared about sports, I would have pulled for Duke. Love Duke...been to the awesome Chapel there. As it turned out, Carolina lost to Kansas...again, if I cared, I might be upset. I do love baseball. I have gone back and forth between the Braves, of course, being a Southern gal...and the Reds...back in my pre-teen days I liked Pete Rose, and had the opportunity to see him hit his 200th home run...broke the record...even got a signed baseball. I must have been anywhere between 10 and 12 years old. I also had a crush on a Reds player named Dave Capicion (Spelling)? My gosh...so long ago, and making me feel kinda old.

I was at this stadium on Friday to see the Pirates Vs Blue Jays nice little stadium! From the outfield you can tell this build is identical to Jackie Robinson Stadium in Daytona (the green part). Good little ball park.
