Every time we come through Polk County we check in on TCW. During the Pandemic you couldn't find entertainment on the road but local pro wrestling companies like this picked up the slack. That show actually had some names fans would recognize from television, Danhausen from AEW and ROH, Chico Adams has been on WWE, and Cheese has been on NWA tv.

Hi Adam, I was at the 1993 Nirvana show in Lakeland too. It is hard for people now to realize the civic center was NOT sold out. The stands were literally empty as the floor swirled. Appreciate you and content.

I saw them in 1988 (maybe 1989) at Green River Community College near Seattle. They were the opening act for a three band set. Young Fresh Fellows were the headliners. Can't remember the middle band. Nirvana was a local club band back then, and there was nothing to indicate they were going to hit it big. It was before Dave Grohl had joined the band.

I actually met rowdy roddy piper once....he was in my town filming a movie and I ran into him briefly....he was always my favorite wrestler and he was a wonderful and kind man...loved him so much ❤️
